I need help locating a feat...please??? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Lets you use armor one category heavier and not lose spellcasting.

Wouldn't help a wizard, but it would help a hexblade.

12-12-07, 05:36 PM There is also an alternate class feature called Armored Mage in Complete Mage. It is designed for an arcane caster that dips into fighter. By trading proficiency with medium and heavy armor, the character can cast arcane spells in light armor without failure chance.

12-12-07, 06:41 PM Highly appreciated. I rember seeing whatever it was in either the PHBII or DMGII cant quite remember. All I know is that it was on one of the classes of PrC's. Liek at lvl 1 the class got it with light armor then so far down the road it got it with medium armor then so on. But thanks for all the help

Duskblade. PH2. The entire class is focused on being the ubergish. Did a decent job, but not stronger than a proper PrCed true Gish.

No, Psions never suffer ASF. Psionic powers have no somatic components (or any components for that matter.

Back to the OP though...
In my personal experience the best feat for letting you cast in armour unimpeded is good ole' fashioned Still Spell. Classic... but still worth it.

Sudden Still (CA) is pretty good too in a pinch.
