Iaijutsu focus, (and other setting-specific skills) only exists in Rokugan and Oriental Adventures-based games. If you're in a OA game, and play a fighter or duellist-type character it can be very useful. Since it does not exist in the other settings, I think they chose not to include it in TOB, which is meant to be usable in any campaign. Can't recall if OA is 3.5 material or 3.0. If its not 3.5, that is probably your explanation there. (Maybe a sidebar or something similar explaining how such changes interact with the ToB material: which classes would get it as class skills when in a OA campaign would have been useful though.) |
| Aryxbez04-10-07, 01:00 AM | Interesting idea of how Diamond mind manuevers could be used. Using the Iaijustu Focus skill instead of Concentration. I would be willing to use this rule If I didn't want to finally see Concentration get used for warrior types. |
