I created a new thread for new luck feats. I don't know how to erase this one.

Personally, I think that Luck feats, while limited, are useful.

They're useful enough that my Living Greyhawk sorcerer will have his older feats retrained into Luck feats. (He's going for fatespinner.)

The big problem that many people have with luck feats are the top tier luck feats. Like Dumb Luck, Better Lucky than Good and the others that have a prerequisite of 6th or ninth level. Some people just don't want characters that can crit on a natural one.

I recommend cleric or sorcerer. Because the cleric can take a luck feat that no other character can and I just like the sorcerer.

Wizard is good too.

Cleric sounds good, except i can't see my lucky hero preying for spells each day. I think spontanios (sp) casting (good utility spells like Improvisation) fits beter with luck.

Having a pool of luck re-rolls offers something to burn for "power-up" feats. here's an idea:

Concentrated Luck
Prerequisites: Any three luck feats

Whenever you use a luck re-roll, you may expend one daily re-roll to add 1 to the final result.

Special: You may take this feat multiple times. Each time you take this feat allows you to expend an additional daily re-roll for an additional point to the result. Example: If you take concentrated luck twice, whenever you re-roll a check, you may expend two daily re-rolls to add 2 to the final result.

Note: This feat alters the final outcome, not the actual roll. Natural 1 still counts as failure, and 19 dose not automatically mean success.

Opinions? Better wording? Should you be able to expend more than one re-roll without taking the feat again?

Lucky Lullaby

Prerequisites: Bardic Music, any two luck feats
Your good fortune sometimes shines through your music.

Benefit: You may expend daily luck re-rolls to produce a number of effects depending on which song in played:

Counter Song: add 1 to the result of the Bard’s perform check for each expended re-roll.
Fascinate: A creature remains fascinated for an additional round after the Bard stops playing for each expended re-roll.
Inspire Courage: Allies receive a +1 luck bonus to their weakest base save. (if two are tied for weakest, choose one) This increases to +2 at 8th, +3 at 14th, and +4 at 20th. Only on re-roll may be expended each time this song in used.
