We all know Complete Psionic sucked. Suckiest of all is the Illithid Blast feat. I don't know if it's been errata'd by the WotC people, or where the official usable version is, but if there isn't one, I think the fix is simple enough. Ignore the last sentence and replace it with this: The mind blast requires the expenditure of 5 power points and is the equivalent of a 3rd-level power. The save DC is 13 + your Cha modifier. You may increase the DC and effective power level by 1 for every 2 additional power points you spend. You may not spend more power points on illithid blast than your manifester level, which in this case is equal to your Hit Dice.
