Ok, I have a monk that has an base attack of 2d6. When I got Improve Natural Attack, it was bumped up to 3d6. If you wear a monk belt, what would you get after 3d6? Would it be 2d10?

If you put on the monk belt at the same level before Improve Natural Attack, would 2d10 go to 3d8?

If you put on the monk belt at the same level before Improve Natural Attack, would 2d10 go to 3d8?The Belt improves your monk level for the purpose of determining your natural attack. INA changes your effective size for the same purpose. You first apply the belt's effect, meaning tyou act as a monk of 5 levels higher, then apply INA's effect to the damage you would deal. Thus a 12th level monk with the belt would do 3d8, and a monk of 15th level or higher with the belt will do 4d8.

What MH said. You look at the damage a Large monk 5 levels higher would do.

Monk with 2d6 base puts on the Monk's Belt he then calculates what his base would be if he were 5 levels higher. This will be 2d8 or 2d10 if your Monk is 15th level.

If your new Monk's Belt damage is 2d8 then look at DMG p28 to learn it is now 3d8 with INA.

If your new Monk's Belt damage is 2d10 then DMG p28 says it is now 4d8 with INA.

If you were a level 2 humaniod/13 monk. In two levels, can you get from 3d8 to 4d8 (assuming you still have the feat and the monk belt)?

What? I have no idea what you are saying.

Nvm about my question. Though one of my friends said that my damage for my monk is 2d10, even though it should be 3d8. He claims that I can't increase die sze, but the number of dice. Is he right, or is just trying to find an excuse for something?

He is wrong.
DMG p28 has the chart for "increase damage" effects.
