ZenZ 03-02-07, 02:49 PM	Does Improved Combat Expertise stack against all foes fighting the character or just one like Dodge? What about a character with multiple strikes, say +15/ +10/ +5... if he takes a -10 to hit to boost his AC are his hits +5/ +0/ -5? Or does just the first attack take the penalty? PC Fighter is taking on two Hill Giant Barbarians. Can he use Improved Combat Expertise against both or just one?
Xaxor 03-02-07, 05:53 PM	Combat Expertise just provides a dodge bonus to armor class. It does not specify that it only applies to one target, just like fighting defensively. The bonus applies to all foes, unlike the Dodge feat. Therefore, Improved Combat Expertise does the same. If you use 10 points of base attack bonus with Improved Combat Expertise, your attacks will be +5/+0/-5. You will still get all of your attacks.
