"Improved Disarm":
Is it a way to gain total immunity against _all_ disarm attempts?

I can see how the wording of the feat makes you think that, but no, the improved disarm feat doesn't make you immune against disarm attempts, it only gives you a bonus. What the misleading phrase refers to, is that when you fail your opposed roll during a disarm attempt, the opponent does not get to make the free disarm attempt he normally gets.

So, you cannot be disarmed during your own disarm attempt.

Hi , r u sure about this?
cuz we have ever used to think that improved disarm feat woulded grant immunity to disarm due the explaination of the feat.

I mean , feats description says :

You know how to disarm opponents in melee combat.
Benefit: You do not suffer an attack of opportunity when you
attempt to disarm an opponent, nor does the opponent have a
chance to disarm you.

it doesn't say that in case of failure , the foe couldn't attempt a disarm on you... it says directly " nor does the opponent have a chance to disarm you " ... such like " u don't get any attack of opportunity and cannot be disarmed in any case "...

I had the same discussion like 1 month after the 3rd edition was released and at that time , seemed that this woulded be the meaning of the benefit , expecially due to that " nor " that means not A and not B , without being clear about speaking about the counter-disarm or in an absolute way :o

btw we're speaking about a 3rd edition feat ^_^;;

Actually, it specifically states that you cannot be counter disarmed. The chance to disarm you is in reference to the fact that if you attempt to disarm you opponent, and fail, then without improved disarm they are eligible to counter disarm you.

The nor part means that in the same instance A does not happen, and neither does B.

It says:
Benefit: You do not provoke attacks of opportunity when you attempt to disarm an opponent, nor does the opponent have a chance to disarm you.

This means that when you attempt to disarm, they cannot attack of op, and also when you attempt to disarm, they cannot counter disarm.

Reading comprehesion dude, reading comprehension. Its extremely useful in a game thats entirely in writing.
