You may now wield that specific weapon made for a creature one size larger. You can not chose an already exotic weapon or the great sword with this feat. ____________________ Seeing as a lot of weapons are already the same as a non exotic weapon but one size larger. This is of course excluding the great sword with one exception. |

Powerful Build is good for all size-related opposed checks, not just for larger weapons. That said, this feat overlaps Monkey Grip a bit too much. This is similar to a weapon focus of sorts, and in fact could be made as a branch of the Weapon Focus feat tree. Perhaps grant an extra damage die, sized to be appropriate for how far up the feat tree it is. Usually, getting a larger weapon is used to bump 2d6 to 3d6, or 3d6 to 4d6, so an extra 1d6 wouldn't be out of order. |

Monkey grip is way too weak. mathematical wise it is a lesser form of power attack except if you have a bastard sword. Exotic weapon proficiency is also been said to not be worth the feat so I thought about basically killing two birds with one stone here. I didn't allow great sword because in my experience any weapon that does more than 2D6 damage gets gimped all the way, and maybe there is a reason for it. |
