I was thinking about how poorly parrying seems to work in D&D (you get a +1 bonus to your AC. Woohoo.), and I managed to come up with this feat. I've dulled it down from it's original, to try to make it less broken, but let me know what you think!

Improved Parry
Prerequisites:
Base Attack Bonus +4, Combat Expertise, Weapon Finesse
Benefit: You gain a Parry bonus to your AC equal to 1/4 your Base Attack Bonus (Max of +5)
Special: To benefit from this feat, you must be wielding only light weapons, and be wearing only light armor. You lose the benefit of this feat when using a weapon heavier than Light, or when wearing medium or heavy armor, or when using a shield.
Special: A Fighter may select Improved Parry as one of his Fighter Bonus feats.

That is not a rule anywhere. D&D doesn't actually handle parrying at all, except with the possible exception of fighting defensively. You can describe that however you like, especially considering the Duelist class feature "Elaborate Parry" adds to your AC when you fight defensively.

Combat Expertise alone is also a pretty good way to do it.

If it really bothers you, Unearthed Arcana and thus the SRD has rules for class-based defense bonuses, which is kind of what you're doing with the feat anyway.
