ok i wanna get the improved rapid shot.

but i was wondering if i still need the pointblank shot feat 1st to get it?

im wondering this because i have 2 lvls of ranger and in the 2nd lvl of this class you get rapid shot for free without having pointblank shot feat.

Would this carry over for improved rapid shot?

or do i need pointblank shot first to get improved rapid shot?

i dont wanna bend the rules i was just wanna make sure.

thanks.

i think i know the answer,i gotta take pointblank shot first.

You're exactly right. Even though ranger levels will get you rapid shot without the prereqs you'll need them for Improved Rapid shot.

You need exactly what is listed as prerequisites. If Point Blank Shot is listed, then you need it.

You need to have all of the prerequisites to get improved rapid shot. So you would need to get point blank shot then many shot.
