If I use the shield charge feet to do a shield bash with a charge, I immediately get a trip attempt. If I succeed at tripping them do I also get the immediate attack on them from improved trip?

No.

The Sage explained that the Improved Trip free attack only works if the Trip was the original attack. You can not 'chain' the attacks up.

His reason was the following words:

If you trip an opponent in melee combat, you immediately get a melee attack against that opponent as if you hadn’t used your attack for the trip attempt.

If you did not use the shield charge feat to trip then you would not be entiteled to another attack.

So you don't get one, as you are not entiteled to one.
