| Commx02-28-07, 01:22 PM | A few days ago, I saw a thread in which the posts mentioned a Feat which allowed you to exceed your maximum ranks for skills by another rank. This obviously has its uses in qualifying a level early for some classes. Unfortunately, I can't find that thread anymore, so my question is if any of you know what Feat this is and where it's from. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. |

You want to be good at something, take something that grants a bonus to the skill. You want to qualify for a prestige class, then QUALIFY for the prestige class, don't find some home brew way to get around the intended limitations. |
| risner02-28-07, 01:43 PM | No such WotC feat, would be house rule (and a bad one.) |
| Radijs02-28-07, 03:20 PM | Ditto to Tarkin and risner. Skill requirements are there for a reason when trying to qualify for a PRC. |
| HamHam02-28-07, 03:42 PM | I seem to recall something about there being some thing in Cityscape where belonging to a guild, or something, would get you a rank in a skill. |
