So, you're a Raptoran, Dragonblood of some sort with Wings, or other Winged flying Race. Now that you have winged flying, what feats are helpful at making it better? This is a list, since I couldn't find one. Hover - MMI - Lets you Hover. Get Improved Flying instead if you have Average. Flyby Attack - MMI - Do something while moving your speed. Wingover - MMI - Allows a 180 turn at the cost of 10 ft of movement. Get Improved Flying instead if you have Average. Improved Flight - RotW, CAv, RoF - Bumps your flying maneuverability up one step. Get this instead of Hover if you have Average. Aerial Reflexes - RotW - Bonus to Reflex saves. Aerial Superiority - RotW - Dodge bonus if you are flying. Born Flyer - RotW - Gain bonus to flying related checks and qualify as flying for feats. Diving Charge - RotW - Extra charge damage based upon your fly speed. Plunging Shot - RotW - Extra damage to foes far below you. Adroit Flyby Attack - Draco - Pre: Fly 90; Do not provoke AOOs when doing a Flyby attack. Improved Maneuverability - Draco - pre: Fly 150, Hover/Wingover; Improved Flight, but stacks and hard to get. Improved Speed - Draco - Fly +20 ft, Others +10 ft. Power Climb - Draco - Fly up at full speed. Power Dive - Draco - Deal extra damage to smaller creatures when you land on them, doing an overrun and trip attack. Wingstorm - Draco - Pre: dragon, fly 20, Hover, Power Attack, Large+; Create a wind storm with your wings. Dragon Wings - RotD - Grants Glide speed 30. Improved Dragon Wings - RotD - Gain Fly speeds with Dragon Wings. Reinforced Wings - RotD - Fly with Medium Armor or load. Heavyweight Wings - RotD - Fly with Heavy Armor or load. Wing Expert - RotD - Use wings to do special tactical actions. Outsider Wings - RoF - Aasimar or Tiefling; Wings fly at land speed. RotD = Races of the Dragon RoF = Races of Faerun RotW = Races of the Wild MMI = Monster Manual 3.5 CAv = Complete Adventurer Draco = Draconomicon Please let me know if you know of other interesting flying feats. I can't imagine not trying to get Improved Flight for most races and Improved Speed is not to be discounted. For armored types, I could see the Reinforced and Heavyweight Wings being important (fighters!) Power Climb also appears useful if a feat slot is handy. Flyby attack for the melee types. I'm toying with playing a Draconic Raptoran which is +1 LA and an interesting set of possibilities, so that's why the list contains so many dragon prereq feats.
