Is there a feat out there that allows you to sneak attack creatures with discernible anatomies (and get through magic armour fortification)? If no feat, I would also accept a magic ability. I would even be happy with a feat that just got through a particular type like constructs, oozes, plants, undead, etc. I would even go for an epic feat if I had to.

Any ideas?

exactly...oh and thanks Kouk...my character isn't a spellcaster but at least there is some precedence to make a magic item now.

Sneak Attack is essentially attacking an opponent in their vital areas: eyes, throat, base of the skull, etc., but you have to know where these areas are. If an enemy doesn't have a throat, or you can't tell where it is, than you're unable to identify (and therefore strike) that vital area. Because SA relies on these vital areas to be successful, you can't sneak attack if they have no discernable anatomies.

Click here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rg/20040217a) to read more about Sneak Attacks.

"Sneak attacks are possible only against living creatures that have discernible anatomies. Undead, constructs, oozes, plants, and incorporeal creatures are not subject to sneak attacks, and creatures that are not subject to critical hits are not subject to sneak attacks also."

Also:

"Sneak attacks are possible only when the attacker can reach the target's vital spots. If you're limited to beating the foe about the ankles, you can't make sneak attacks against him."

Yes, I am aware that it doesn't make much sense to be able to sneak attack a construct, and I am aware of what is necessary to get a sneak attack off on a normal opponent. Btw, this is for a 19th level rogue who is going epic soon, so I may be looking for an Epic (and ergo likely broken) feat...basically we are talking about a DND world where rules were meant to be broken. Apparently as already indicated certain spells sidestep the rule. And I was wondering if there has been a feat yet that did the same, but apparently not.

An example of a feat that defies logic is darkstalker from lords of madness; it allows you to roll a hide or move silent check (whichever's more appropriate) to negate tremorsense, blindsense, blindsight, and other extrasensory abilities. How do you hide from sonar? I don't know...but you can apparently.

An alternate class feature from Dungeonscape does exactly what you ask for. Level 3 rogue skill, replaces trap sense for half sneak attack damage when flanking creatures normally immune.
