| narack03-03-08, 12:29 PM | there is in one book a feat that require you to be a sorcerer with at least 17 cha. When you cast a spell you can use the feat to increase you caster level by your charisma bonus exactly. But you suffer Xd6 damage for each point. Ex: 20 Cha is +5 bonus, so with the feat you can cast to 5 level higher but suffer 5d6 damage, cannot be regenerated normally and if you die only wish or miracle can bring you back to life. |
| dman1123503-03-08, 02:41 PM | There's also the reserve feats which increase it by one for certain types of spells. But I'm pretty sure there isn't a non-3rd party feat that just straight increases your CL other than practiced caster. For manifester level there is Overchannel. |
| luedre03-04-08, 01:43 AM | There is one for spellthieves called master spellthief, it adds all of your arcane caster levels together. IE Wizard 3/Sorc 1/Spellthief 2 would have a caster level of 6, if of course you meet the pre reqs for it. Course some people argue that Spellthieves don't get arcane caster levels til later on, so to them it would only be 4, but that's an on going argument. |

| toucanbuzz03-04-08, 09:33 AM | The Dragonlance Rules have a Feat that temporarily allows an arcane caster to increase his caster level (by 1, 2, or 3 levels), but then he is summarily stunned for a number of rounds (can't recall w/o looking at rules). If immune to stuns, he takes damage instead (d6, 2d6, 3d6). |
