Increasing racial AC? [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-04-08, 01:25 AM I've been looking for a feat that can increase a dwarf's AC bonus against giants and haven't found one yet. I've looked for a while and ran out of books in my collection. If such a feat exists, could someone point it out to me?

01-04-08, 02:03 AM Closest feat to this I can find is Titan Fighting from Races of Stone. Basically lets you use that +4 dodge against creatures larger than you.

Giantsbane from Complete Warrior adds +4 Dodge AC when using total defense against giants.

01-04-08, 07:53 AM I don't see why not since all of them are dodge bonuses, which do stack.

So, if you had those two feats, were doing total defense, and the creature is two size categories larger than you... you would get a total of +14 Dodge AC [+6 total defense, +4 racial dwarf ability, +4 Giantbane]. Not too bad.

Also, Giantbane is a tactical feat that let's you do some crazy stuff to big creatures.
