in draconomicon the feat enlarge breath is given as an example for multiple uses of the same feat on a breath weapon, however it does not say that you can do it in the feat's actual description...wondering if anyone knows what's supposed to be the case (as is I'd have to say that it can be doubled and so on, but with no limit mentioned you can burn armies with a single breath)...

for sandstorm there's this sandshape alchemical substance which is controlled in units of cubic feet but made in units of a "jug" (12 lbs.)... any proper conversion? it would be helpful to know to create a Gaara-style (Naruto) guy

Yes, you can use it several times. If you read carefully just above the paragraph you reference, it says that all of the metabreath feats can be applied as often as you want them to, but that your breath will take that much longer to recover.

So technically, yes, you could use a cone shaped weapon and breath a few hundred miles to attack an entire army, but that's when the DM turns to you, smacks you, and says "be reasonable" or else require a prodigious fortitude save not to die (a breath weapon is powered by the elemental energy of a dragon after all).
