| Inyotef08-26-07, 10:15 AM | Can someone tell me what the Initiate of Anhur feat does? It's in the "Champions of Valor" resource book, and I don't have the book available to look it up. Thanks. |

If you were you would know that laws vary between countries and that despite massive efforts from the RIAA and similar organization it is not illegal to provide small percentages of copyrighted works in answer to specific questions, at least not in the USA. Also, game rules have ADDITIONAL protections, making it even less illegal. It might be illegal in some other fascisct countries, but not in America, not yet. 2. It is not against the COC to either requestor provide copyrighted material. You are only prevented from violating the laws of the country you are in. But a Wiz-O can ban you just because he feels like it. But most Wiz-Os are pretty nice, and they would at least warn you. I have never got a warning for posting copyrighted material. 3. Part of the reason I have never been even warned is that I do not over-provide. I answer the question in such a way as to help the asker without allowing them to truly benefit without buying the product. For example, I am not going to tell him the prereqs. He did not ask for them and does not need them unless he decides to take the feat. Nor am I going to exactly list the feat, only paraphase, using generalities. If he does take the feat his DM should certainly require him to bring the actual book in, to verify the exact wording. Initiate of Anhur feat is a 'multi-feat', it has lots of little benefits instead of one big one: Helps you avoid being surprised when distracted or asleep. Some but not all of the benefits of Combat Reflexes Adds two or three low level spells to your spell list. |
