Character in my campaign is naturally invisible and a rogue, perfect combo you say? Well, not when everything has scent, blindsense, tremorsense, and a new one I had never heard of from an extraneous source book; psychicsense. Damn creature could see everything 300 feet out and nothing blocks it; not steel, wood, rock, dirt, nothing. So I'm trying to assist by finding ways to anull some of the extra sensory perceptions. If you know of any feats could you please list name and source. And if you want to be my bestest best buddy you could type out word for word, because I sadly do not own every book known. By the way anything 3.5 goes, even extraneous books. |

Creatures with Blindsense and Blindsight still need to make spot or listen checks (whichever is higher) to detect you when you're hiding. I predict it won't help you much though. Sounds like the DM doesn't want you hiding if, as you say, every creature has detection abilities. |
| sineous blackspell04-12-07, 11:36 PM | try being ethereal as well as invisible+hiding if that dont do it somethings up with your gm id suggest hiding from HIM |

You can also try Gaseous Form or Meld into Stone, although that latter spell requires you to use some sense other than sight to know when your enemies are around. Mind Blank will prevent anything that relies on detecting your thoughts, which should include psychicsense. There are some expensive items that provide Mind Blank continuously: a ring in DMG2 (110,000 gp) and the Cowl of Warding (200,800 gp) in Magic of Faerun. |

Very big mistake!. Ghost Touch weapons are only effective against incorporeal creatures not ethereal. You can't attack a target on the material plane from the ethereal plane with weapons even ghost touch ones. |

You can't attack a target on the material plane from the ethereal plane with weapons even ghost touch ones. You're right; I retract my earlier praise. Ethereal is an OK suggestion; incorporeal is an excellent suggestion. Spells like Arcana Form, Eladrin Form, Ghostform, Permeable Form, and Shadow Phase will make you incorporeal, and the ghost touch weapon will then let you wail on material critters. |
