Endurance lets you sleep in Medium armour with no penalties. I can't recall a feat that does the similar for Heavy armours, but Magic Item Compendium has restful crystal, and it's fairly cheap (500 gp).

Pet peeve and no offense intended: I really don't like it when people break up their comments between their thread title and the post itself. While boards are oasis of grammatical improvisation, this is less than optimal. Details can be lost when jumping from one font in one location to another in another.

To my knowledge there is no such feat in the official Wizards books. A DM could rule the Heavy Armor Optimization feat from Races of Stone could do this when you also have the Endurance feat. There might be something in a 3rd party book as well. Or Mithril, as suggested.

Forgive me, I figured anyone smart enough to be using these boards and have the ability to answer the question I posed would see the actual question and be able to ascertain any additional, superfluous facts from the body of the thread. I suppose that I could have cut and pasted the thread title / question, but, hey, that would have repetitious, and thus, less then optimal.

Pet peeve and no offence intended: I really hate when someone decides to clutter up a thread with self indulgent, trite comments about the format of a particular way of doing things that may not conform to their personal ideal.

That being said, thank you for your response. While the bulk of your response was repetitious, and thus "less then optimal", I appreciate your point and will look at Races of Stone.

As mentioned above, there's the Restful Crystal, but also there's a flat cost Restful quality that can be added to armour. This also gives you a better listen check to be woken up. This is from Dungeonscape.

There is also a Restful Armor enchantment found in Dungeonscape, but the new augment crystals are a bit more useful.

And 500 gold for a item you only have to slap on when you go to sleep is very good :)

oooh, you really got the thesauraus out for that one. You really need to know what those words mean though. Superfluous means "exceeding what is sufficient or necessary" and I inidicated that facts in the body of text are not 'superfluous'. Self indulgent, yes. Trite, no since not alot of people mention such a thing on a board since people tend to be sensitive. Trite is a derogatory form of cliched. And while your intention is to be derogatory, it is not appropriate.

As far as your pet peeve, it is also valid since personal opinions will always be valid in a public forum. You will continue to post in the manner that you like, and I will as well. Until one of us passes what a moderator considers beyond the CoC, we will do so unmolested.

However, don't insult my intelligence as that is a personal attack. It is clearly against the CoC and not a necessary response.

Penchant, I don't know you, nor do I care to. You are condescending and demeaning, and before you go off on personal attacks and all that fluff, go back and read what you wrote and tell me it was not.

That being said, while I don’t have a need to use a dictionary or thesaurus (note the correct spelling), might I suggest you should? You, who arrogantly comment on the grammar of the boards, yet fail miserably at the simple spelling of the words (note plural) “a lot”.

Now, while you are looking up the spelling of “indicated”, please also look up antecedent. When I was discussing that in my post that was superfluous, I was referring to what I had written in the body of the post. The title of the thread contained all the information needed.

Further, I notice, conveniently, that your ‘pet peeve’ was given in your second post AFTER you gave a 100% wrong answer (also done condescendingly, I might add), as if to show that it was somehow my fault you got the answer wrong. That was just self serving.

If you have something to add to the main thread, by all means do so, but don’t come here picking fights, especially to cover your own mistakes. It is petty.

You both suck. Shut up.

No dictionary needed.
