Joke Feat Idea - Yesican Spell [Archive] - Wizards Community

Have a spell do something it normally can't.

Benefit: Choose a spell where the spell description specifically states you cannot do something. When you cast the spell you can now do it. A Yesican spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than normal.

Special: If some effect says a specific spell cannot affect it, a Yesican version of that spell can affect it. For example, Dispel Magic cannot dispel a Wall of Force, but a Yesican Dispel Magic is able to do so.

Commentary: The return of 3.0 Haste - Yesican Haste :P

Actually, I think it is quite balanced (maybe I would change the level adjustment to +2) and I'll probably use this in my campaign. Poor PCs. :evillaugh :P

06-24-07, 02:09 AM Yeah, a +2 is possibly better when you consider Yesican Haste and Yesican Polymorph.

Watch out for Divine Metamagic Yesican. :D

Yesican Vampiric Touch = gain more HP than the subject's current HP+10.

Yesican Wish (you need to be epic) = let inherent bonuses exceed +5, or heal damage and poison with one wish, and a few other things.

Yesican Word of Recall (you need to be epic if you are a druid) = teleport unwilling creatures.

Yesican Transmute Metal to Wood = transmute metal artifacts to wood.

Yesican Transport via Plants = travel through shambling mounds and treants.

Yesican Tasha's Hideous Laughter = you may allow the target to take actions while laughing if you want them to be able to.

Yesican Teleport = teleport to places you don't know anything about.

Obviously Yesican feat is too powerful.

very funny... lets aply it to other "don't"s!

yesican take twenty: you can take twenty on a tumble check (fall and go back up 20 times in the time it took you to go down once!)
