Just a quick question about the jump skill. The DCs for jumping vertical or horizontal are straight forward but what if you wanted to combine the two actions. I.e jump across to a higher ledge.

Is it merely two seperate jump checks?

technically, when you do your long jump, you actually reach the maxinum height you can do, for a vertical jump, so if you want the maxinum vertical jump, with a long jump, you can half the longjump distance, because halfway through the longjump you reach the peak height anyways'

note, if your jump mod is high enough, you can die from falling damage :-P

whats really funny is if you gain leaping dragon stance from tome of battle, it gives you a 10 foot enhancement bonus to your jump check... not +10 to jump roll, but 10 feet added to the final result :P
