Yes, this is an attempt to have the Kekkai Genkai abilties from Naruto. Hopefully, they are balanced. If not, let me know what you think can be done to improve them. I'll start with the Sharingan, though I am not quite done with it yet. For most Kekkai Genkai, it will be an actual Feat Chain, instead of a single feat, so keep that in mind before saying it doesn't actually do what the bloodline limit does.

One Tomoe Sharingan
PreReqs: Member of Uchiha clan, 3rd Character level.
The Sharingan develops in you, and you gain a +2 bonus on Spot checks and Spellcraft checks, a +1 bonus on saves against directly harmful illusions, such as Phantasmal Killer, but not on, as an example, an illusionary floor over a pit.
Special: You may gain this feat even if not a member of the Uchiha clan, provided you can somehow find a near death Uchiha who is willing to grant you his eyes. Good luck not having them kill you.

:D I am excited because I was about to do this myself! I am planning on doing a full fledged Naruto est. like campaign, was about to edit around the Ninja class and do some jutsu before going off to work!! :)

Do you know about Nightscreamer20's Naruto class and subsequent kekkei genkai feats + PrC's? After a long time of thinking and debating, we figured that since you need to train the clan things separately, they worked along the lines of short PrC's, and so there's like a Jyuuken Grandmaster and Keeper of the Sharingan PrC, for the respective Byakugan and Sharingan feats. Check it out.

Ummmm, can you provide me with a link? I kinda looked through all these boards and nothing.

Sure I can. (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=356723) :D

The PrC's I mentioned are on page two, and they're all basically the final product. The jutsu (I believe) were going to be redone, but you could also just use the Naruto D20 stuff (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=345157) if you'd like (I prefer their jutsu system....... actually, I generally prefer it, though both rock).

I think these shouldn't be feats, they should be gained as part of Bloodlines and gain progressive power with the levels of bloodline taken.

Also comment, Sharingan should also add bonuses to the Sense Motive check to overcome the Bluff check involved in Feinting.

Uchiha bloodline
Level 1: You gain Sharingan - gain a +1 bonus to Spot checks, Spellcraft checks, Sense Motive checks against Feinting. These bonuses increase by 1 at every odd level. A character also gains an immediate saving throw against any encountered spell from the school of Illusion that wouldn't otherwise permit one. Bonuses provided by Sharingan are only applicable against opponents that are visible.

Level 2: Sharingan grants you Evasion (Ex) and are treated as having the Dodge feat.

Level 3: You gain a +1 bonus on saving throws against Illusion spells. This bonus increases by one at every odd level.

Level 5: You gain Improved Evasion and may use Dodge against a number of opponents equal to one half your bloodline level, rounded down.

I always thought the justu stuff would be kind of like the ToB maneuvers.

Kekkai Genkai are supernatural abilities though and are associated with particular clan bloodlines - perfect for using with the bloodline class levels described in Unearthed Arcana.

Jutsu would not be the Manuevers of Tome of Battle. Jutsu use Chakra, and thus you can only use a certain number per day. Rather, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu do that, using Chakra, and they are spells. Taijutsu, however, can be done all day, so those would work as Manuevers. As to how they should be Bloodlines, I disagree with this as not everyone unlocks the powers of the Kekkai Genkai. Obito, obviously, was a Chunin and had, as of yet, not awakened the Sharingan, so it is something that doesn't always awaken, such as when it is not chosen as a feat. Sorry, but your Uchiha Bloodline seems a bit overpowered, what with the granting of Evasion, much less Improved Evasion. It is described as a Bloodline, but that can be seen as the family requirement for the feat.

 Read Unearthed Arcana (or d20srd.org). You level up in the bloodline - you unlock the bloodline trait as you increase in level. It is applying the generalistic nature of D&D to Naruto. You unlock it by increasing in level, just like you unlock abilities of other classes. I fail to see your argument as to why it is wrong.

It offers no other bonuses. There is no BAB increase, save progression, or stat bonuses. Rogue gets Evasion at level 2 and can get Improved Invasion at level 10. The bloodline is not overpowered; it is compressed. And you take bloodline levels in lieu of class levels.

Not to mention it was just an example.
