Hohoho. I have the leaderhsip fat, and in the old 3.0 book I am certain it was written that followers had NPC-classes. In the 3.5 book I cannot find this statement in the description of the feat, nor in the description of NPC classes or friends etc.

Have followers become hero-classed? I would certainly like that

I'm pretty sure you can take "hero" classes...

I like it:P

for level ones, fighter is actually good:P

Level 2, maybe, higher? not worth it, or multiclass...

Then the problem is what do to with my aristocrats... sneak attack is sort of...not their thing :P

As an elven noble I will have a good mix of beurocratic aristocrats who work on persuading some lords to fund my castle-building plans in Cormanthor, while some willl act as my elite castle guard, and my cohort will be the overseer/smith/magic item crafter etc., in other words an Eldritch theurge.

Perhaps bard will do the trick...or one of the multitude of new gish classes...

i always take my lvl 1 followers to be Wizards. nothing like spell power to help defend your holdings in the chance you're attacked. (and nothing like spending WAAAAAAY too much to get the best wands and scrolls to your lvl 1 followers!)
