Luck Feats and race/class features [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm building a Chaos Gnome Cleric (Luck domain) and want to understand how to fit the race/class luck aspects with the luck feats in Complete Scoundrel.
The Racial aspect "Luck of Chaos" provides one luck reroll on any roll. Similarly the luck domain grants a luck reroll on any roll.
The Luck feats, though, match rerolls to character level - for example, rerolling a save is a CL9 feat, rerollng an attack is CL6, and so on.

So can I use the race/class-derived rerolls for ANY dice rolls? The text seems to infer that the reroll applies to success/failure rolls only. Does this mean I can't reroll damage, for example? (I notice it takes TWO of your daily allocation to reroll damage if you have the Fortuitous Strike luck feat.)

And I assume I can't use any of my luck feat allocation to power the "Luck of Chaos" or Luck domain granted power extra times a day.

It looks like I should keep them all separate even though they seem to similar.

Cheers
Zebek.

They are all separate except the "Three times a Charm" Feat which allows you to use your Luck Domain feat immediately again giving you a third chance on the roll. The only other power outside of the luck feats that influence is the Luck Eater PrC which can give you more Luck rolls and of course the Fortunes Friend PrC. :)

Your racial/class rerolls can be used for any d20 roll.

Yes, my Chaos Gnome Cleric also has a couple of levels of Fortune's Friend. And the magic armour from the DMG. And the magic Bracers from Complete Scoundrel. :)

He looks pretty ineffectual but I will get to roll more dice :P
