| Alamanther's comeback06-20-07, 10:30 AM | I've been reading the description of the Lyric Spell feat and considering if there's any official ruling on the application of metamagic. For instance, can a 12th level bard burn 8 daily uses of his bardic music to cast disguise self with the Persistent Spell metamagic feat applied to it? The description of the feat strongly implies that metamagic feats can be applied (Silent Spell excluded, of course), and it makes no mention of any limitation on how many daily uses of bardic music you choose to spend. I have no problem with this (and I feel that the possibilities for abuse are somewhat limited), but if there's any offical word against my reading, I'd like to know. :) |

Wanna do a twinned, maximized greater shout? That's 14 daily uses of bardic music, thank you. One big bang, and thank you for the music - you won't be doing much else with your class feature that day. |
