| posternutbag06-16-07, 10:10 PM | Is there a feat that allows Cross Class skills to become Class skills? I know the Education Feat (ECS) allows all Knowledges as Class skills, and some of the Eberron Druid Sects have a wider range of skills as well so there is precedent for feats to do this sort of thing. Specifically, I want to know if/how I can add Heal to the Rogue skill set without multiclassing and without a DM houserule. |

On a related note: the easiest way of getting all skills as class skills and make them cost 1 skill point per rank is take a level in factotum and able learner feat. |

(old) Cosmopolitan from FRCS makes one ("non-exclusive" - you see it's old) skill class AND gives you +2 to checks. (new) Cosmopolitan gives some social skills bonuses, I fail to remember which ones, never was interested in the new version anyway. No, they are not Core. Fair warning: this could break your game with easy qualification for skill-intensive-requirement PrCs, so review everything the players present you with three times as thoroughly. Added: Aereni Focus gives +3 to checks? Wow... I totally dis-optimized my char... |

| AAB06-17-07, 07:37 PM | that feat actually wouldn't help at all. it essentially grants you skill points to max out two more of your class skills. |
| Frugal06-18-07, 08:16 AM | Able Learner (RoD) will at least reduce the cost of cross-class skills to 1 point per rank although you're still limited to the cross-class max ranks, depending on what you're trying to do that may or may not be enough. |

| Darth Sephiroth06-18-07, 02:43 PM | Skill Knowledge in UA allows one cross-class skill to become a class skill w/o any prereqs. I believe that it is one skill or two skills that are class skills for one of your classes. That's slightly different in how it works. |
| Frugal06-18-07, 02:50 PM | I believe that it is one skill or two skills that are class skills for one of your classes. That's slightly different in how it works. 2 options: Skill Knowledge [General] You gain access to new knowledge and abilities. Benefit Choose any two skills from one of your current classes' skill lists. You now know these skills as class skills. Special Instead of choosing two class skills, you may choose one cross-class skill (whether you already know it or not) and learn it, treating it as a class skill from that point forward. Note the special option. |
| TheDarkWolf06-22-07, 12:08 AM | this may not be exactly what you are looking for, but on the same note Jack of All trades makes it so you have at least .5 ranks in a skill.. basically allowing you to roll on anything even if it is not black box. |
