| cato05-24-07, 06:22 PM | Every time u fail on a save or attack u get +1 attack +1 save dcs on ur spells.. One can potentially see how this feat can be abused :p |
| runestar05-24-07, 11:21 PM | Is the benefit cumulative? Because unnamed bonuses from the same source do not stack...:P |
| cato05-25-07, 04:53 AM | From the description It would seem to be but I am not sure. |
| Gr8tyrant05-25-07, 08:15 AM | what book is it from? |
| cato05-25-07, 08:33 AM | Fiendish codex II page 84 |
| Morwen05-25-07, 08:56 AM | It's not very abusable. Sure, it's cumulative, but you only get +1 each round you miss/the target makes his save, and it only lasts until you manage to hit/the target fails a save. If you try to "abuse" it by deliberately making yourself miss, then you'll still be spending a lot of time doing nothing, for, in the end, a marginal bonus to one attack or to one save DC.. |
| cato05-25-07, 12:12 PM | what abusable is that you can one shot the final bad guy or something of the sort |
| Witch05-25-07, 12:15 PM | what abusable is that you can one shot the final bad guy or something of the sort Mark of Cania can only be taken by devils. |
| cato05-25-07, 12:59 PM | Ye but if u see the prerequisite feat can be given to a human in the service of a devil, or i think it would work with a half fiend template and a similar background. Not sure though |
| Lina_Inverse05-25-07, 01:00 PM | what abusable is that you can one shot the final bad guy or something of the sort Everyone in D&D can one shot the badguy. Oneshoting isn't hard in D&D. Further it's not a oneshot, you made multiple attacks that did nothing and finally destroyed it. |

Nah i mean with proper preparation, like you can store up the ability on other stuff and get a sure hit of lets say a stone to flesh when u get there. Ofc anyone can one shot the bad guy, but making it so he only saves with a 20 is sweet :P |
| Morwen05-25-07, 07:11 PM | Nah i mean with proper preparation, like you can store up the ability on other stuff and get a sure hit of lets say a stone to flesh when u get there. Mark of Cania doesn't add to the save DCs of your spells. It adds to your attack rolls, damage rolls, saves, and checks. Not to save DCs. Even if it did, though, how would you go about "storing up the ability on other stuff"? One single successful attack (happens at least 1/20 times) or one single failed save (also happens at least 1/20 times) and your "storing up" is wasted. |
| cato05-26-07, 04:24 AM | Heal people only up to the boss :p? Or concentrate on buffs depending on ur class But I do believe ur right about the DCs, guess i just got confused cause it paired + on saves with + to hit, dmg and checks, thought it meant save DCs |

Blindfold yourself, take out a bag of rats, and kick them? It seems like a very impractical tactic. |
