Martial Maneuver as a Touch Attack via Spell? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-06-07, 12:57 PM Simple question. I'm playing a gestalt Crusader/Favored Soul and I'm looking at the spell Ice Axe from the Spell Compendium. It lets you strike for melee touch attacks for damage with a magically conjured axe. My question is, can I use this axe for Martial Maneuvers? Str bonus does not apply to damage since the axe is weightless.

07-10-07, 04:37 PM I don't see why the axe couldn't be used to perform maneuvers.

07-10-07, 04:57 PM Yes, for most of the maneuvers anyway as you are still making a mellee attack which is the activation requirement for all the strikes, as far as I can tell.
