Martial Study [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-13-07, 12:12 AM I tried to find this information, but couldn't find it on this forum. Basically, my question is, when taking a maneuver with Martial Study, some have listed prereqs such as needing two manuevers from that school. Obviously Martial Study won't just allow easy access to those manuevers. What about manuevers that just say they're accessable to "Swordsage 7"? Could someone use Martial Study to access such a feat?

03-13-07, 12:23 AM You can take any maneuver that you meet the prerequisites for, this includes every style. This makes it even nicer for martial adepts, so they can grab those nifty moves otherwise unavailable to them,

03-13-07, 12:49 AM You could never grab a 7th-level maneuver via martial study unless you're already taking significant levels in an initiating class. Remember, your initiator level is equal to your initiator class level plus half of your remaining character levels. You have to have an initiator level of 13 to get a 7th-level maneuver. That means you'd have to be a 26th-level non-martial character to qualify for it.
