I've made a feat for my campaign, and was wondering if there are any like it already. Also, I wasn't sure about the prerequisites for it.

Master Crafter
Prerequisites: Skill Focus (any two craft skills)
You can use any craft skill as though you had a rank in it, but you cannot take 10 or take 20, nor do faster checks with them.

(I forget the right name for faster checks.)

Perhaps there should be a steeper or lesser prerequisite?

Thanks!

As written, its less powerful than Jack of all Trades from the complete Adventurer, which only has a prerequisite of 13 Int.
(Although personally I think JoaT is overpowered.)

I would say that the DM has fiat to rule that some crafts are just too obscure to come under the Master Crafter feat however. These would be unusual though.

all craft skills can already be used untrained. maybe just make a feat that gives a +1 bonus to all craft skill checks.
