06-27-07, 09:54 AM Does anyone know if PrC also add to the level in which you determine the highest level spell you can steal?

If for example I'm a Spell Thief 1/Dread Necromancer/PrC 10. Assume this PrC adds full spellcasting and I add that to my Dread Necromancer Spellcasting does my Steal Spell level equal all three together?

Steal Spell is a seperate ability, not directly tied to caster level.

You get upgrades seperately, it is not affected at all by "+1 caster level".

However, I could see the following:

Practised Spellthief feat.

Your Spell thief ability to steal things acts as if you were four levels higher, but not greater than your total HD.
