03-02-08, 03:14 PM I just want to get some confirmation here-

Sorc 4 / Wiz 4 / Ultimate Mag 5 /Spell Thief 1 -- takes Master Spellthief (CSc)

does that mean all of this character's arcane caster levels are stacked so all the character's effective arcane caster levels are now:
8 (sorc cl) + 8 (wiz cl) + 1 (spth cl) = 17 (for sorc, wiz and spth)

but they are stealing spells at a different level:
4 (sorc lv) + 4 (wiz lv) + 1 (spth lv) = 9

03-03-08, 03:53 AM If I remember correctly, spellthieves don't get a caster level until class level 4 when they obtain the ability to cast spells so I don't believe you would get the 1 to your caster level from the spellthief level.
