Stormheart 06-08-07, 11:56 AM	Hey everybody, I have a masterwork light crossbow and Weapon Focus: Light Crossbow. What is my bonus? I am calculating +2. Is that right? What happens if i get that magically enhanced to +1, +2, etc.? Cheers Mates!
irzg9zh3psgq3m09 06-08-07, 12:00 PM	Masterworked weapons give +1 enhancement bonus to attacks and weapon focus gives an arbitrary +1 bonus to attack, so they stack. A magically enhanced +# weapon gives an enhancement bonus to attack and damage, so the bonuses won't stack with masterwork for the attack bonus. So a +1 weapon with weapon focus would have +2 attack, +1 damage.
Loki5654 06-08-07, 12:00 PM	Masterwork provides an enhancement bonus to attack (not damage). Weapon Focus provides an untyped bonus (but it should be competence IMO). So yes, they stack. When the weapon is enchanted, the +1 to attack from MW is subsumed by the +1 to attack and damage from being magical.
