I have a question about the reserve feat Minor Shapeshift. My question is in regard to the temporary hit point option. Say a 10th level caster has this feat and activates the temporary hp option. He gains 10 hp for 4 rounds (his highest polymorph spell is polymorph). The first round he's fine; the second he gets hit for 3 damage (he now has 7 temp hp left); round three causes 6 more damage (still has 1 temp hp). The next round, he activates the temp hp ability again. Back to 10temp hp again. Actually, as this is a swift action, the caster can just activate this ability at the beginning of each round. Am I missing something?

You are right. Is there some particular means of using said feat you are trying to understand?:)

No....it seems like that option allows the caster to have a massive amount of hp. Just wondering if anyone saw that as broken.

Temp hp from the same source does not stack unfortunately. So the best the feat can replicate is a more limited version of fast healing10. Which is nice to have, but not game breaking.:)

And also eliminates the ability to use a different swift action, like a quickend spell, for that round. At lower levels this is a big help, but at higher levels it's not worth wasting a swift action on.
