Or are those 3 feats "bonus" feats, and you'd get 3 (minotaur) + 1 (first level) +1 (third level) + 1 (sixth) +1 (ninth) = 7?

So in your example, he would have 4 feats.

Basically, your minotoaur Warblade 4 has a total of 10 hit dice, so he would receive feats for a 10th level character (1, 3, 6, and 9, for the total of four that you suggested).
