| arcady05-22-07, 09:38 PM | If I have a monk with less than 13 Int and I take Improved Trip at level 6, can I then take Improved Disarm later, such as at level 8, even if my Int is still too low? |
| SALDAR05-22-07, 09:45 PM | You would get a feat at level 9 not 8, but in either case, since it is not a bonus feat for the monk you would need to meet all of the prerequisites, including the Int 13. You would only be able to take it without meeting the requirements if you were taking it as a Monk bonus feat at 6th level. |
| arcady05-22-07, 10:06 PM | Nod. 9 not 8. :D Been about 3 years since I opened any of my DnD books, and I just couldn't find this one on reading. Making a level 9 half orc monk to join a 'game in progress.' |
| Garonak05-23-07, 04:23 AM | Actually the Imoroved Disarm feat doesn't require int in itself... But you still need Combat Expertise which do require int. |
| Merestil Haye05-23-07, 07:58 AM | Actually the Imoroved Disarm feat doesn't require int in itself. That is not the case. Both Improved Disarm and Improved Trip include Int 13 among their prerequisites. |
| Garonak05-23-07, 05:04 PM | I've said it before and I say it again: I HAVE to learn to double check my books before posting... :P In my defense, on the feat table int 13 isn't mentioned on disarm and trip, just on comb. exp. |
| Fabius Maximus05-23-07, 05:18 PM | Guys, take a look in the SRD. Bonus Feat: A monk need not have any of the prerequisites normally required for these feats to select them. |
| Frugal05-23-07, 05:34 PM | Guys, take a look in the SRD. Yes, but the OP is asking if a feat that's offered as a bonus feat can be taken at a later level (as a standard feat) and still ignore the prereqs, the answer is no. |
