| NightScreamer2003-21-07, 01:30 AM | Berserk Warrior [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, Weapon Specialization, rage class feature Benefit: For the purposes of determining how many times per day you can Rage, and your Damage Reduction, you Fighter level stacks with and Barbarian levels you have. Furthermore your Barbarian levels stacks with your Fighter levels for determining your total Fighter level when meeting the prerequisites for feats or abilities. Special: This feat can be taken as a Fighter Bonus Feat. Berserk Hunter [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, favored enemy class feature, rage class feature Benefit: When determining how many Favored Enemies you have and the bonuses for each, your Ranger and Barbarian levels stack. In addition your Barbarian and Ranger levels stack for determining your Uncanny Dodge and Trap Sense bonuses. Wild Avenger [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +4, ability to wild shape, favored enemy class feature Benefit: For the purpose of determining the effectiveness of your Wild Shape (how many times per day and Size) your can add your Ranger level to your Druid level. Your Ranger and Druid levels also stack for determining your effective level for your Animal Companion. (Ex. a Druid 3/Totemist 2 with this feat is considered 5th level Druid when determining the number of times she may utilize Wild Shape, and gains the Wild Shape class feature if she did not already have it; her effective Essentia Pool would be 4, equal to that of a 6th level Totemist). | nyluenatha03-21-07, 11:06 AM | Ooooo...these are nice! I really like the whole mutli-class friendly feats that WotC has started adding into their sourcebooks. It's definitely good, IMO. I  the Holy Crusader feat. Such a perfect idea and blend of character classes if ya ask me. The only thing about that feat is that all the abilities you get bonuses for multiclassing on are the paladin abilities. What about the Knight abilities? Maybe add half paladin level to knight levels to determine their spiffy knight abilities they gain. p.s. you should critique the feat in my sig. If you get a chance. Or something. :) |
| Arcade03-21-07, 04:58 PM | Berserk Warrior is far too much. Barbarians and fighters already multi class because their class features combine so well. This is just giving them more of a reason to do what they are already power gaming to do anyway. And for fighters, it really boosts them since it gives them the best Barbarian abilities with a 1 level dip. Barbarians need to take 4 levels as fighters, so this is probably a balanced feat for them. Wild hunter is good. A dip into ranger or barbarian is hardly unbalancing and gives this feat some good use. Wild Avenger is fine as well. A ranger who takes 5 levels in druid just to wild shape likely deserves a bonus. And a druid dipping into ranger hurts the druid spellcasting, so they should get something back in return. I don't know Knights that well, so can't comment. |
| starfire31103-21-07, 07:24 PM | Here are 2 that I am currently allowing in a game. Ascetic Sage [General] Prerequisites: Still Mind Class Feature, Sword Sage AC Bonus Benefit: Monk Levels stack with swordsage levels for determining Initiator level. May use monk abilities while wearing light armor. Swordsage levels stack with monk levels for determining Ki Strike ability. Mystic Martial Artist [General] Prerequisites: Flurry of Blows, Discpline focus(insightful strike with setting sun, shadow hand or tiger claw) Benefit: Monk Levels stack with swordsage levels for determining Discpline focus. Any weapons from a discpline that you have discpline focus with are considor monk weapons for you. Swordsage levels stack with monk levels for determining Flurry of blows and unarmed damage. |
| FreAkOuTRG03-21-07, 08:51 PM | Your Ranger and Druid levels also stack for determining your effective level for your Animal Companion. So, you would add your Ranger levels to your Druid levels, instead of 1/2 your Ranger levels? Just want to make sure. They all seem pretty good. Here's one I've been thinking about: Nimble Ambusher [General] Prerequisites: Sneak Attack +2d6, Sudden Strike +1d6, Ki Power (Ghost Step) Benefit: Rogue levels stack with Ninja levels to determine your Ki pool, Ki abilities gained and unarmored bonus to AC. Add Ninja levels to Rogue levels to determine sneak attack instead of gaining sudden strike and to determine your trap sense bonus. Edit: Upped the requirements and benefits after realizing that rogues with a 1 lvl dip into ninja benefited more than the other way around. Do you think I should take out the Ki abilities gained part? |

I like that these are divided up into two different feats, giving each one a distinct flavor to it if a character chose one over the other. Also, was there a reason you included just those three disciplines? I know that Stone Dragon also has unarmed strike as one of its preferred weapons, just wondering if there was a reason for leaving it out, or if it was just a typo. Great stuff! |
| NightScreamer2003-22-07, 03:39 AM | Hm, I'm waiting more on the Berserk Warrior. It was the only one I wasn't sure of, I was thinking of adding Power Attack as a Prereq just for Flavor purposes (most would take the feat anyway though...). However it just seemed on balance with the Fighter/Swashbuckler (Gaining an AC bonus and a Save/Check bonus + Level Increase) and the Fighter/Ninja (Ki pool, AC bonus + Level Increase). Yes with Wild Avenger it's full so a Ranger2/Druid6 would be an 8th level Druid for their Animal Companion. And Bravo for braving the Tome of Battle Cross-Class, I dare not touch that, for some reason makes blood trickle from my nose and a feint ringing sound in my ears... curious. Also on the Rogue/Ninja one I like, kind of redundant (because before Ninja I always played my Ninjas as Rogues haha) but enjoyable none-the-less! And with that I present the following! Wild Soul [General] Prerequisites: Ability to bind soulmelds to the Totem Chakra, animal companion class feature Benefit: For determining your effective level your Animal Companion you may add your Totemist Level to your Druid or Ranger level. Furthermore, you add your Totemist level to your Druid level for determining how many times you may utilize your Wild Shape class feature even if you do not have it already. In addition your Soulborn Class Levels stack with your Paladin class levels to determine the effectiveness of your lay on hands ability. Author's Note: Wild Soul seems to tip the scales I think but the others seem right. God a Paladin/Soulborn... thats one hell of a stick up his...!!!! *gets gagged and dragged off stage* |

I didnt choose stone dragon because I think, dont have book with me right now, stone dragon isnt a swordsage discipline. |
| Lord_Iames03-22-07, 10:50 AM | I couldn't find an equivalent in any of my sourcebooks, so... Devout Ascetic [General] You blend monastic life with devout prayer. Prerequisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, ability to turn or rebuke undead. Benefit: Your monk and cleric levels stack for the purposes of determining your unarmed strike damage, unarmored Armor Class bonus, and the power of your turn/rebuke attempts. |
| Tyraxus03-22-07, 10:50 AM | Don't all the martial adept classes get Stone Dragon? I know there's one they all get... |
| starfire31103-22-07, 02:44 PM | Don't all the martial adept classes get Stone Dragon? I know there's one they all get... I know there are 3 that Swordsage doesn't get, and I Know they don't get devoted spirit or iron heart, I was thinking they didnt get stone dragon either, but I will know when I get home from work. |
| Nat_2003-22-07, 03:11 PM | Berserk Warrior [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, Weapon Specialization, rage class feature Benefit: For the purposes of determining how many times per day you can Rage, and your Damage Reduction, you Fighter level stacks with any Barbarian levels you have. Furthermore your Barbarian levels stacks with your Fighter levels for determining your total Fighter level when meeting the prerequisites for feats or abilities. | Lotus Crane03-22-07, 03:20 PM | Here's a pair I made a while back. Admittedly, Way of Passion is not strictly a dual class feat in and of itself, but it would work very well in many such builds. BARDIC SWORDSAGE [GENERAL] You are an avid student of esoterica, whether academic, artistic, or martial. Prerequisite: Ability to initiate 2nd-level martial maneuvers, bardic music. Benefit: Your bard and swordsage levels stack for the purpose of determining what bardic music abilities you have access to, and how effective they are. For example, a 4th-level bard/4th-level swordsage would have access to the suggestion (DC 14 + Cha modifier) and inspire courage (+2) abilities, as if he were a 8th-level bard. (Swordsage levels do not, however, provide additional daily uses of bardic music; only bard levels do.) Your bard and swordsage levels also stack for determining your bonus on bardic knowledge checks and your initiator level for martial maneuvers. The character described above would have bonus of 8 + his Intelligence modifier on bardic knowledge checks and an initiator level of 8th for swordsage maneuvers. WAY OF PASSION [GENERAL] As a disciple of the King of Hearts, your emotions provide you with power and purpose, instead of distracting you like they do other martial artists. Prerequisite: Cha 13, must be gained at or before the first level of a martial arts class is taken. Benefit: You can use your Charisma modifier rather than your Wisdom modifier for all martial arts special abilities that normally rely on Wisdom. You also learn a secret specific to each martial arts class, described below. Monk: You can use your Charisma bonus instead of your Wisdom bonus for determining your monk AC bonus, for determining the save DC against your stunning fist and quivering palm attacks, and for determining the save DC and effects of other unarmed special attacks, such as those provided by the Eagle Claw Attack and Freezing the Lifeblood feats. In addition, you can multiclass freely between the monk and other classes, and do not need to maintain a lawful alignment to gain monk levels. You still face the normal XP penalties for having multiple classes more than one level apart. Ninja: You can use your Charisma bonus instead of your Wisdom bonus for determining your ninja AC bonus, and for determining the size of your ki pool. In addition, you can use your ki powers normally while wearing up to light armor, though not while using a shield or while encumbered. (Wearing armor of any kind still causes you to lose your AC bonus, great leap, speed climb, and evasion abilities.) Swordsage: You can use your Charisma bonus instead of your Wisdom bonus for determining your swordsage AC bonus, for determining the save DC of martial maneuvers which normally allow a Wisdom-based saving throw, and for determining the bonus damage provided by the insightful strikes ability. In addition, you may choose one type of melee weapon with which you are proficient. That weapon is treated as a favored weapon of all your disciplines for determining the effects of maneuvers, feats, and other special abilities you may have. |
| JiCi03-22-07, 06:05 PM | And Bravo for braving the Tome of Battle Cross-Class, I dare not touch that, for some reason makes blood trickle from my nose and a feint ringing sound in my ears... curious.Oh please... like it's that broken... a crusader/paladin feat would be nice. Anyway, here's my share: Soldier of the Wild [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, Wild Shape, Weapon Specialization Benefit: Your Fighter and Druid levels stack when determining your Wild Shape size and uses per day. Furthermore, both class levels stack when determining the fighter levels for the purpose of feats. Special: A fighter may select Soldier of the Wild as one of his fighter bonus feats. Draconic General [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +6, Weapon Specialization, Draconic Aura, Breath Weapon Benefit: Your Fighter and Dragon Shaman levels stack when determining your breath weapon damage, area and DC, as well as your draconic aura strength. You do not gain additional auras. Furthermore, both class levels stack when determining the fighter levels for the purpose of feats. Special: A fighter may select Draconic General as one of his fighter bonus feats. Mystic Forest Knight [General] Prerequisites: Base Attack Bonus +4, Special Mount, Animal Companion Benefit: Your Paladin and Druid levels stack when determining the level of your special mount and animal companion. If you can select the same creature for both a mount and a companion, it gains benefits from both class features; if two abilities derived from these classes are the same, use the highest value. |
| the_narrator03-22-07, 06:36 PM | Brutal Hunter Prerequesites: Sneak attack +2D6, Favored Enemy class feature. Benefit: Your Ranger and Rogue levels stack for the purposes of determining Favored Enemy bonuses and Sneak Attack damage. I actually almost feel that this feat was somehow accidentally left out of the CS. |
| Mirandul03-23-07, 07:06 AM | What about a brutal Hunter version for Rogue/ Fighter. At least, you get a fighter, who is a realy good archer. Swift Warrior You combine stealth and combat prowess. Prerequisite: Weapon Specialization, Sneak Attack +2d6 Benefit: Your rogue and fighter levels stack for purpose of determining your sneak attack bonus damage. Your fighter and rogue levels also stack for the purpose of qualifying for feats that require a minimum fighter level. Special: A fighter can select Swift Warrior as one of his fighter bonus feats. And I would like to put these feats on my web-site, if no-one is against it. |
| Slayer_503-23-07, 07:18 AM | I want a feat that gives my Fighter feat progression to another class... |
| FreAkOuTRG03-23-07, 03:33 PM | Another one: Wild Performer [General] Prerequisites: Bardic Music, Bardic Knowledge, Inspire Courage, Animal Companion Benifit: Add your Bard levels to your effective Druid level to determine your Animal Companions abilities, and add your Druid or Ranger levels to your Bard levels to determine your Bardic Music/day, your Bardic Knowledge checks, and the bonus provided by Inspire courage. In addition, add Perform to your Druid class skill list, and add Survival to your Bard class skill list. |
| Thanatose03-24-07, 02:26 PM | I posted this one on another thread i figure it should go here as well. I still need a name for it thow <name> Mind Blade[Psionic] Through monastic training you have learned to shape your mind blade into gloves of mental energy. Prerequisites: Weapon Focus (Unarmed Strike), Shape Mind Blade class feature, Flurry of Blows class feature Benefit: Any time you wish to reshape your mind blade using your shape mind blade class feature, you can add the <name> to your shape repertoire. You are proficient with the <name>. The weapon is sized appropriately for you and deals damage equal to your unarmed strike. You may use Flurry of Blows with <name>. Any feats that you have that apply to your unarmed strike also apply to <name>. Special : when useing <name> you are unable to use your Ki abilitys or stunning fist |
| Solian03-24-07, 02:41 PM | Been thinking of one for a while Arcane Thief Prerequisites: Sneak Attack +2d6, Ability to Cast 2nd Level Spells Benefit: Your Rogue and Wizard Levels Stack for Determining your Sneak Attack Damage Gain. Your Rogue and Wizard Levels also Stack to determine your effective Caster Level. WHaddya' Think? Edit: CHanged the Prereqs due to mirandul's advice, thanks |
| Mirandul03-25-07, 08:09 AM | Been thinking of one for a while Arcane Thief Prerequisites: Sneak Attack +1d6, Ability to Cast 2nd Level Spells Benefit: Your Rogue and Wizard Levels Stack for Determining your Sneak Attack Damage Gain. Your Rogue and Wizard Levels also Stack to determine your effective Caster Level. WHaddya' Think? I thiink 1d6 is to view as prereq. (it should be 2d6 at least. This is what the Daring Outlaw got. Swift Ambusher got 1d6, but I think it is ok in this instance, because Skirmish and Sneak Attack are rather similar in what they do) and I am not sure about the wizard levels. Practiced Spellcster gets you max 4 caster levels. but that is only my 5ct. |
