Daemyn 08-29-07, 12:18 AM	Ok i am making a goblin char that is mounted on a clockwork pony that has been enchanted with golden barding (splint mail +6) so carrying capacity is not a factor. Armor: Mithral Full Plate Level 5 Char Kinda leaning towards fighter3/ranger2. Taking the combat style: Mounted-Combat from dragon magazine 326. That combat style gives me Ride By Attack for free.... Any thoughts on feats for this char??????? Weapon??????

I would suggest you not wear mithral full plate, because that counts as Medium armor and will prevent you from using your Ranger Combat Style (presumably the Mounted Combat Style works the same as the other Ranged and TWF styles?). Go with Mithral Breastplate for best raw armor that can still count as light. Grab a Lance for if you want to Charge, and anything else for a melee weapon. You could even use a two-handed weapon, because with enough Ride skill you can Guide with your knees without even having to make a check. Any reason the horse isn't using Banded Mail or Full Plate? Those armors are better than splint, and the Banded Mail is lighter. You could use the Mithral Full Plate for the horse if it is within your budget.
