| xAndurilx08-16-07, 12:50 PM | Basically have the horse move its full movement, and have the rider make an attack inbetween. "Your mount acts on your initiative count as you direct it. You move at its speed, but the mount uses its action to move." "When using the attack action with a melee weapon, you can move both before and after the attack, provided that your total distance moved is not greater than your speed. Moving in this way does not provoke an attack of opportunity from the defender you attack, though it might provoke attacks of opportunity from other creatures, if appropriate. You can’t use this feat if you are wearing heavy armor. " It looks possible by the RAW.... thoughts? |
| tarkin08-16-07, 12:51 PM | Per RAW: 1. Yes you can use Spring Attack while riding. 2. However both you AND the horse need the Spring Attack feat in order to avoid the AoO. If only you have the feat, they AoO your horse. If only the horse has the feat, they AoO you. |

| xAndurilx08-16-07, 01:13 PM | But wouldent it be far more awesome to leap from your horse, attack and then get back on? :) Yes! ...unless you have Spirited Charge... :) Thanks guys! |
| xAndurilx08-16-07, 01:14 PM | If the horse is invisible, they counted AoO him right?... |
| tarkin08-16-07, 01:46 PM | It is possible to take an AoO on an invisible person if you know where they are. If they see you riding on an invisible creature, they should be able to AoO your horse, although they will have a 50% miss chance. |
