Look no further than the PHB (and the ELH).
Manyshot [General]
Prerequisites
Dex 17, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, base attack bonus +6

Benefit
As a standard action, you may fire two arrows at a single opponent within 30 feet. Both arrows use the same attack roll (with a -4 penalty) to determine success and deal damage normally (but see Special).

For every five points of base attack bonus you have above +6, you may add one additional arrow to this attack, to a maximum of four arrows at a base attack bonus of +16. However, each arrow after the second adds a cumulative -2 penalty on the attack roll (for a total penalty of -6 for three arrows and -8 for four).

Damage reduction and other resistances apply separately against each arrow fired.

Special
Regardless of the number of arrows you fire, you apply precision-based damage only once. If you score a critical hit, only the first arrow fired deals critical damage; all others deal regular damage.

A fighter may select Manyshot as one of his fighter bonus feats.

A 6th-level ranger who has chosen the archery combat style is treated as having Manyshot even if he does not have the prerequisites for it, but only when he is wearing light or no armor.
Improved Manyshot [Epic]
Prerequisites
Dex 19, base attack bonus +21, Many-shot, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot

Benefits
As Manyshot, but the number of arrows you can fire is limited only by your base attack bonus (two arrows, plus one arrow for every 5 points of base attack bonus above +6).

Special
Regardless of the number of arrows you fire, you only apply precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage or the ranger’s favored enemy bonus) once. If you score a critical hit, only one of the arrows deals critical damage (your choice); all others deal normal damage.

Normal
With the Manyshot feat, you are limited to a maximum of four arrows fired (when your base attack bonus is +16 or higher).

is there a multishot feat?

What do you mean by multishot? Is Rapid Shot what you are thinking of? See PHB. If Rapid Shot fits your description then Improved Rapid Shot in Complete Warrior is the....improved version.;)

Wow. why post if you don't answer the question that was asked. No, Glitch28, there is no multishot feat (unless it is in an obscure rulebook somewhere). People often misspeak and say multishot when they mean manyshot, and they probably also refer to any time you can fire multiple arrows to be multishot. There is a 'multiattack' feat, but it has nothing to do with ranged combat.

There is also the Greater Manyshot feat:
Greater Manyshot [General]

You are skilled at firing many arrows at once, even at different opponents.
Prerequisites

Dex 17, Manyshot, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, base attack bonus +6.
Benefit

When you use the Manyshot feat, you can fire each arrow at a different target instead of firing all of them at the same target. You make a separate attack roll for each arrow, regardless of whether you fire them at separate targets or the same target. Your precision-based damage applies to each arrow fired, and, if you score a critical hit with more than one of the arrows, each critical hit deals critical damage.
Special

A fighter may select this feat as one of his fighter bonus feats.

There is an Improved manyshot, but it's hidden in possably the oddest place for a ranged combat feat: The Expanded Psionics Handbook. Find out what it does at www.realmshelp.dandello.net

And no, Improved Manyshot does not have anything to do with psionics

You're thinking of greater manyshot. Improved manyshot is the epic feat (oddly enough).

Improved Many-shot, out of the ELH, just extends it to work with an Epic BAB progression. It does nothing else.

Greater manyshot, out of the EPH, lets you fire at multiple opponents, (With a separate roll for each), and lets you add precision (sneak attack, the like) to each arrow.

Multishot is a mode of fire of blasters and slug-throwers (eg, firearms) in the Star Wars Role-Playing Game. Basically, the weapon itself grants the benefits of the Rapid Shot feat, and then Rapid Shot stacks with this.

Er, strike that, the game term is multifire. Sorry, don't know what, if any, mechanic multishot refers to. But it seems reasonable that it could be developed as a ranged analog to Multiweapon Fighting.

You may find that Multi shot was a hold over thought from 3.0. There used to be a Many shot and Multi shot feat. I was in a game where the ST allowed the combination of them.

One allowed you to string up several arrows and throw them down range at a single target.

The other allowed you to unleash a multiple arrow wave at any number of targets equal to the number of arrows released.

As you can probably tell, the two feats combined would have allowed a single player to basically unload his entire quiver in a matter of moments into a large number of opponents. It was like having a machine gun in hand.

I never believed these two feats should have been able to be combined myself, but the game ended, and the feat in question disappeared; so it was never a problem again.

Are you sure that's not rapidshot that you're thinking of? Don't know about 3.0 versions, they definitely can't be combined in 3.5 though.

No. I remember the Multishot feat existing. I know for a fact it does or did without looking for it n the rule book.

Why?

Simple, even this wizards site refers to it in old rules clarifications.

-----

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rg/20050614a

Using Actions

You cannot combine your action options. For example, if you use the Multi-Shot feat, which allows you to fire multiple arrows as a standard action, you cannot also use the full attack action, which is a full-round action.

-----

So combining Manysot (many arrows at once) with Multi-shot (many single arrows down range at several targets for a SINGLE attack roll) was not possible even by the rules clarifications.

Weird, I don't see it on the consolidated feat index, and that usually shows stuff from 3.0 sources.
