| nighttree07-24-07, 11:46 AM | I have found a number of good feats for Multi-armed characters, but it appears that all but one are actually 3.0. are there no 3.5 updates to these feats ? or are they OK as is. Any harm in using them in a 3.5 setting ? Multiweapon fighting (3.5) Improved & Greater Multiweapon fighting (3.0 as near as I can tell) Multidexterity ? Multitasking ? Multiweapon rend (EPIC) 3.0 I think. |

Greater Multi-Weapon Fighting: 3.5 Epic Handbook, but NOT an epic feat. All three of the above are legal. Mult-Dex should be ignored, just as ambi-dex is ignored in 3.5 Multi-Rend is an Epic feat in the Epic handbook, it is NOT one of the non-epic feats they list. You can only take Multi-Rend if you are above 20th level. Then it is legal. Note, in much of the Epic book, they mistakenly listed Multi-Dexterity as a pre-req for things, but it no longer exists. Similarly, I think (am not absolutely positive) that Multi-Tasking is not legal anymore. While some indexes on the web claim it is in the Epic Handbook as well as the 3.0 books (Sword and Fist, Savage Species), I do NOT see them in my copy. Multi-tasking is clearly similar to the Haste Spell. Just as they removed the Haste spell, I would not allow Multi-Tasking as a legal feat in a 3.5 game. |
