Hi all. I'm trying to figure out a feat that I'm looking for. I had seen a feat in a book that was above Great Cleave. It allowed for a 5 foot adjust between cleaves. I cannot remember where I saw it or what the pre-requirements were for it. I thought I had seen it on a website that called it Carnival of Carnage. It was exactly what I was looking for, but, it didn't give me any pre-requirements besides for needing Great Cleave. I thought there were other pre-requirements, but it didn't list it. Can anybody help me with this feat. Thank you.

The only thing that I can think of right now is the supreme cleave class feature that some PrCs get.
But like I said, it is a class feature, is still limited to, I believe, a single 5' step, and doesn't come in the form of a feat that I can recall.

No, I saw it as a Feat, in the Feat listing of a book. I just cannot remember which book I saw it in.

Maybe you are refering to the Spycraft book. But its not an official book.

Cleaving Charge

Pr.: STR +15, Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave, +6 base attack bonus

Des.: When performing a Great Cleave, you may move one 5-foot square
before each extra attack. You may not exceed half your speed
during this action.

I forget the name of the feat I've seen that does this, but I think it was in the Miniatures Handbook.

It is not a feat. It is in the PHB under full-round attack (combat section): If you do more than one attack you can take 1 5-foot step before, after, or in the middle. The same rule would apply to cleave as long as you make no other move in the same round.

That's incorrect. If you're in the middle of a Great Cleave "chain" you cannot take a 5' step. If you are entitled to a Cleave (or Great Cleave) attack and there's nobody within reach, you lose the Cleave attack.

If you were attacking as part of a full round attack and you haven't already taken your 5' step, you can take it and make your next iterative attack, which might very well trigger more Cleaves. But the step was taken between attacks, not between Cleaves.

The Feat is called Ultimate Cleave. It is in the Netbook of Feats.
