Negative energy vs. positive energy [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-30-07, 09:10 PM I have a question about a feat called "tomb tainted soul". This feat is from Libris Mortis, and it allows you to heal with negative energy, and take damage from positive energy. My question is this... since cure spells are positive and normally heal, does that mean that inflict spells actually heal you when you have this feat?

12-30-07, 11:43 PM You would heal off of Inflict spells, and Cure spells (and their ilk) would injure you. Works best with the Dread Necromancer base class in the Heroes of Horror supplement.
