Just and idea I was playing around with...

Adrenaline rush
Prereqs: Rage ability, DEX 13
When in a rage, you gain a +10ft speed bonus

Adrenaline-fueled rage
Prereqs: Rage ability, DEX 13, adrenaline rush
When in a rage, you gain a +4 enhancement bonus to dexterity and a +20ft speed bonus. These bonuses replace the ones from the adrenaline rush feat

I think that if Adrenaline-Fueled Rage only granted a +4 Dex bonus, it would still be a very good feat. Adrenaline Rush is maybe a bit weak, but the pair would be reasonable. As written, I think they are too strong. (Make the speed bonuses enhancement bonuses, and it would be OK.)

But then, I think moving fast is a bigger deal than some other people do.

It is a big deal, especially at high-levels and beyond. I agree with jaelis.

I'd give it a diffrent name since these don't reflect what an adrenaline rush does.
The first one should have a slightly higher pre-req, say Rage 2/day. Picking it up before you can make that requirement is just overkill, since you are already moving faster than any other PC and most CR <4 monsters. But as is, that would make a great dip feat.

The later already has a good solution proposed for it.

Yeah, the +4 Dex is nice in that it mostly cancels out your -2 AC penalty for raging, assuming you don't exceed the max Dex of your armor.

I think Adrenaline Rush is pretty much good as-is. I agree with jaelis in that Adrenaline-Fueled Rage should probably have the extra speed dropped (just granting +4 Dex).

Maybe to offset the boost (which is very nice, maybe a smidge too powerful), have the feat activate when a barbarian uses 2 rages to get the benefits of the feat. Seems too good of a feat that "adds" to the existing class feature with no downside. But if you have to spend double for the benefit, now its useful for a "price".

I don't think that a feat that grants +10 speed while raging is too powerful. The Dash feat from the PHB already exists and it gives you +5 feet always.

For that matter, if you're playing a class with Fort+2, you can get +10 speed for the cost of a feat: you take the Quick trait from Unearthed Arcana to gain +10 speed at the cost of 1 HP per level. This is then offset by Improved Toughness (with the Fort +2 prereq).

So as it stands, I don't think +10 speed at limited circumstances is that crazy.

Well, Dash is a +5 to speed when I think you're wearing no armor or light armor only... I forget so its more limited that the +10 barbarians usually get and the extra +10 while raging that the first feat gives.

Plus I was looking at the whole package. The first feat is somewhat weak. Useful but not great. Its the 2nd feat that is pretty darn spectacular.

So I guess to clarify my suggestion, you might want to consider letting a barbarian get the benefits of the 2nd feat when he chooses to use 2 Rages instead of 1.

Still, you can beat the Dash feat with the Quick trait and the Improved Toughness feat anyway, which only takes one feat. Dash is pretty much a useless feat in most circumstances. Of course, if the DM isn't using traits, then this doesn't work.

Yeah. In my first post, I agreed with jaelis that the 2nd speed boost should just be dropped (just using the +10 from the first feat). I thought you were talking about the first feat when you brought up the power of the speed boost.

So I guess to clarify my suggestion, you might want to consider letting a barbarian get the benefits of the 2nd feat when he chooses to use 2 Rages instead of 1.
If the increased speed is kept in the second feat, then this seems like a good comprimise.

Yeah, make it use two rages per day and its good. Otherwise eliminate the increase to speed with the second feat.

Adrenaline rush
Prereqs: Rage 2/day, DEX 13

I might change the names later... but people bounce off the walls with adrenaline. Speedily.

I would remove the extra daily use from the first one. +10 feet extra movement is a "perk" that doesn't in my mind justify the extra use of rage. The 2nd one though is good enough to justify an extra use of rage to get the benefits.

Agreed.

Also, smeagol_lied, I noticed both times that you made the Dex increase an enhancement bonus, which means that it won't stack with Cat's Grace or Gloves of Dex. The Str and Con bonus a barbarian gets are typeless, which means they stack with everything. I don't know if you intentionally did this or not. If it remains an enhancement bonus, people can replace most of what makes this feat good with a 16,000 gp magic item. You may want to make it a typeless modifier, so long as it takes two rages to use. It seems balanced to me.

All good? I changed the first to rage 1/day to make it scale better.

Why not open it up a little? Change it from "Rage" to "Rage of Frenzy" ability. All the rage feats in books like complete warrior allow a frenzy ability to qualify, why does this have to be further restricted? Let the badgers and the sahuagin in your campaign world have some fun too :}

A badger's rage ability is called "rage", and I believe the Sahuagin's is too. Or Sahuagin's might be blood frenzy or some such...
