Below is a list of exalted feats which I have liberally yoinked from a now archived thread (http://forums.gleemax.com/wotc_archive/index.php/t-172154.html), and then edited. I only pulled the ones I liked, and edited only a few of those. Further commentary and opinions welcomed.

Vow of Honesty [Exalted]
You have taken a sacred vow to speak no lies.
Prerequisite: Sacred Vow
Benefit: You gain a +10 perfection bonus to any Sense Motive check that involves determining if someone else is lying or attempting to hide something.
Special: To fulfill your vow, you cannot lie in any way (spoken, written, pantomime, etc.). You are not compelled to speak...remaining silent is a valid choice. If you intentionally break your vow, you immediately and irrevocably lose the benefit of this feat. You may not take another feat to replace it. If you break your vow as a result of magical compulsion, you lose the benefit of this feat until you perform a suitable penance and receive an atonement spell.
Initiates of Pistis Sophia may select Vow of Honesty as one of their bonus Vow feats.

Light of Truth [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, all those standing within it are compelled to speak only the truth.
Prerequisites: Cha 17, Nimbus of Light, Sacred Vow, Vow of Honesty.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, anyone within it's direct illumination is affected as if by a Zone of Truth with a save DC equal to 10 + 1/2 your Character level + your Charisma modifier.

Light of Discernment [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, all things that would otherwise be invisible are rendered visible.
Prerequisites: Wis 17, Nimbus of Light.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, the area of it's direct illumination is affected as if by an Invisibility Purge.

Light of Revelation [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, all things are shown to be as they truly are.
Prerequisites: Wis 19, Nimbus of Light, Holy Radience, Light of Discernment, Sacred Vow, Vow of Honesty.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, the area of it's direct illumination is visible to any onlookers as if they had True Sight active.

Light of Wrath [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, the unrighteous cannot bear to look upon you.
Prerequisites: Cha 15, Nimbus of Light.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, any evil, sighted opponent who attempts to attack you and can see you as they make the attack is dazzled for one round. The radius of your Nimbus of Light is increased by 5'

Light of Consecration [Exalted]
Blessed is the ground you walk upon.
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Cha 15
Benefit: The area currently illuminated by your Nimbus of Light is affected as if by the Consecreate spell.

Soul's Rampart [Exalted]
You can channel positive energy so adeptly, you can protect yourself and others from damage before it is dealt.
Prerequisites: Lay on Hands class ability
Benefit: You can use Lay on Hands to bestow temporary hitpoints onto a recipient, including yourself. You may grant up to twice your current paladin level in temporary hitpoints to any one target. You subtract one point of healing from your Lay on Hands reserve for every temporary Hit point you bestow.
Example: Avon is 8th level with a Charisma score of 20 and modifier of +5. His maximum reserve of Lay on Hands is 40 because (8 x 5) is 40. With this feat, he can bestow up to twice his Paladin level on any one target ( 8x2=16 ) and the Temporary Hitpoints last for a number of hours equal to his Charisma modifier (5 hours).
The Paladin need not bestow the maximum number of Temporary Hitpoints (16 in this case) in one usage, so he can give 4 people, including himself, a total of 40 Temporary Hitpoints, emptying his Lay on Hands reserve, or he can save some for regular healing.

Pristine Blood [Exalted]
Your body resists permanent damage.
Prerequisite: Con 15, immunity to disease
Benefit: You can heal from incurable or bleeding wounds such as vile damage, mummy rot, or a clay golem's cursed wound ability as though they were normal damage. Any ability drain you suffer is treated as ability damage.

HOPEFUL AURA (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Cha 15
Benefit: The exalted character may cause all good creatures within their Nimbus of Light to be filled with courage. Any allies of good alignment that are within or which enter the area of your Nimbus gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and a bonus equal to yoru charisma bonus on saving throws against fear effects. The Hopeful Aura can be activated or deactivated as a free action.

AURA OF LIFE (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, cha 15+
Benefit: The exalted character’s connection with the energy of life offers him greater protection. Whenever the character is subjected to a death spell, magical death effect, energy drain, or any negative energy effect that allows a saving throw, if they make the save they take no damage and if they fail the save they take half damage (if applicable.). This benifit is only in effect while Nimbus of Light is active. the radius ofyoru Nimbus increases by 5'

GREATER AURA OF LIFE (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Aura of Life, Cha 17+
Benefit: The exalted character has learned to channel the energies of life into their Nimbus to help shield him from harmful negative energy effects. Whenever the exalted character’s Nimbus of Light is active they gain a resistance to death spells, magical death effects, energy drain, and any negative energy effects. If subjected to one of these effects that does not allow a saving throw, the exalted character is allowed to make a Fortitude save to ignore the affect. If the effect is a spell or spell-like ability the DC is as per that spell using the creatures charisma modifier. If it is a supernatural ability the DC equals 10 + ½ the creature’s hit die + the creatures charisma modifier. This benifit is only in effect when Nimbus of Light is active.

ENFOLDING AURA OF LIFE(EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Aura of Life, Cha 17+
All the benifits of yoru aura of life (or greater Aura of life) are bestowed upon all living creatures with in the radius of your Nimbus of Light

DISRUPTING TOUCH (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, Ki Strike (Lawful), Sanctify Ki Strike, Holy Ki Strike
Benefit: The unarmed strike of the exalted character is the bane of all undead creatures. Any undead creature struck by the exalted character’s unarmed strike must make a Will save, DC 10 + charisma modifier, or be destroyed.

RADIANT TURNING (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Cha 15
Benefit: If you can not turn undead, you can now turn undead within your Nimbus of Light as a cleric half your character level. You may attempt to turn undead a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. If you can already turn undead, your effective cleric level is increased by 3 when determining your turning effects on undead with in your nimbus of light, OR are treated as a cleric of half yoru character level, which ever is greater, but only with in the Nimbus of Light. The radius of your Nimbus of light increases by 5'.
Special: If your nimbus of light exceeds a radius of 30', your turning ability is still limited to 30'

FIENDISH TURNING (EXALTED)
Pre-Requisites: Radiant Turning, the Ability to Turn or Destroy Undead, Sacred Vow, Favored of the Companions or Knight of Stars or Servant of the Heavens, Cha 17, Wis 17
Benefit: You can turn or destroy evil outsiders as if they were undead. An outsider has effective turn resistance equal to half its spell resistance (round down).

First, some of these have already been done as Epic feats. Other than that, they look fine so far.

There is some solid potential here.

All of these need clearer wording. They also all need proper formatting, (bolding, etc.).

Vow of Honesty is nice, but boring. Furthermore it should not allow one to remain silent. Finally, I object to the conceptual idea that honesty is Good let alone Exalted.

Light of Truth lacks a Caster Level, and introduces the problem of an undispellable, permanent spell/

Light of Discernment needs higher prerequisites to attain balance.

Light of Revelation is just plain confusingly worded and also rather too powerful.

I like Light of Wrath. Just to be clear does this give a save, and how does it interact with SR. Perhaps it would be better if it just bestowed a -1 on attack, Spot and Search checks rather than the condition itself.

Light of Consecration is pretty powerful, but could be balanced by higher prereqs. It's cool.

Soul's Rampart is an interesting, workable mechanic but it shouldn't be granted by a feat.

Pristine Blood's first half is cool but not competitive. It's second half is overpowered. Perhaps retain the first half and give a bonus on <something>.

Hopeful Aura treads on the paladin's toes for absolutely no reason. No!

Aura of Life is...an interesting way of granting a Mettle-like effect. Ultimately it's an inefficient delivery method.

Greater Aura of Life is another that needs complete restructuring of wording. Also it has extremely limited use. I can think of only like three spells or abilities that fit the criteria.

Enfolding Aura of Life. See above. Also that aura would be far too small in comparison to other aura effects.

Disrupting Touch should be attainable only at Epic levels, even so it's pretty nasty.

Radiant Turning should not grant Turning attempts. No. Otherwise, with a little restructuring it could be quite good.

Fiendish Turning is superseded by an Epic feat already.

I assure you that these were intended in a helpful spirit. Sometimes critique is well...critical.

well, it's dispellable by dispelling the Nimbus, but next round it can be brought up again as a free action. 8shrug* to tired to think about the rest. heh, and here I thougth Ihad clarified things from the original presentation. Well, except for the formatting thing. I'll work ont hat when I am awake again.

alright, so here's my responses...

Vow of Honesty is nice, but boring. Furthermore it should not allow one to remain silent. Finally, I object to the conceptual idea that honesty is Good let alone Exalted.

Your objection about honesty being exalted could be applied to several of the other official vows, and making a virtue of honesty seems more good than promising to never ever touch anything dead. And there's a reason I didn't copy over Vow of Silence from the other thread. :) For your other comment, how about:

Vow of Honesty [Exalted]
You have taken a sacred vow to speak no lies.
Prerequisite: Sacred Vow
Benefit: You gain a +10 perfection bonus to any Sense Motive check that involves determining if someone else is lying or attempting to hide something.
Special: To fulfill your vow, you cannot lie in any way (spoken, written, pantomime, etc.). You are not compelled to answer a question in a desired way. If some one asks you 'where are the children hidden?' you are free to honestly reply 'I refuse to tell you'.

Light of Truth lacks a Caster Level, and introduces the problem of an undispellable, permanent spell.

Dispellable via dispelling the Nimbus of light, but would return with it.

Light of Discernment needs higher prerequisites to attain balance.

Mmm, how about the following change, so you are revealing the truth of things that are trying to remain hidden:

Light of Discernment [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, all things that would otherwise be invisible are rendered visible.
Prerequisites: Wis 17, Nimbus of Light, Vow of Honesty, Light of truth.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, the area of it's direct illumination is affected as if by an Invisibility Purge.

Light of Revelation is just plain confusingly worded and also rather too powerful.

alright, prerequisites raised, power reduced, and even a draw back.

Light of Revelation [Exalted]
When the Nimbus of light shines from you, all things are shown to be as they truly are.
Prerequisites: Wis 21, Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Light of Discernment, Sacred Vow, Vow of Honesty, Light of truth.
Benefit: Whenever your Nimbus of Light is active, all illusions (including those of allies) of the figment, glamor, and pattern sub schools are dispelled automatically, but the character with this feat has to succeed in a caster level check against each one, rolled each round the illusion is inside the nimbus of light. Caster level is equal to the character's Hit Die.

Hrrm, so maybe an epic upgrade to enhance it to be more like true sight, reveals the true shape of all creatures not in their true form?

I like Light of Wrath. Just to be clear does this give a save, and how does it interact with SR. Perhaps it would be better if it just bestowed a -1 on attack, Spot and Search checks rather than the condition itself.

unless stated otherwise, Exalted feats are always Su, so no spell resistance is built into the rules. Not allowing a save, it's a very minor condition really (decision based off a conversation in the thread linked above). I'm sticking with condition instead of the penalty, sort of a 'reuse code that works', plus this way it won't stack with dazzled from another source.

There is no save. The radius of your Nimbus of Light is increased by 5'

Light of Consecration is pretty powerful, but could be balanced by higher prereqs. It's cool.
[quote]

Ehh... any thematically fit feats you can think of? only thing I can think of for now is raising the CHA.

Light of Consecration [Exalted]
Blessed is the ground you walk upon.
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Cha 19
Benefit: The area currently illuminated by your Nimbus of Light is affected as if by the Consecrate spell.

[quote]
Soul's Rampart is an interesting, workable mechanic but it shouldn't be granted by a feat.
[quote]

Why in this particular case? it's an upgrade to an existing class ability that's never been considered particularly powerful, for a class not considered one of the strongest either (though other classes also grant Lay on Hands)

[quote]
Pristine Blood's first half is cool but not competitive. It's second half is overpowered. Perhaps retain the first half and give a bonus on <something>.

How about if I weaken the second half a bit, give only partial benefit? namely:

Pristine Blood [Exalted]
Your body resists permanent damage.
Prerequisite: Con 15, immunity to disease
Benefit: You can heal from incurable or bleeding wounds such as vile damage, mummy rot, or a clay golem's cursed wound ability as though they were normal damage. You can heal Ability Drain at the rate of 1 point per day of rest, which is not effected by any abilities or effects which increase the rate of healing for ability damage.

Hopeful Aura treads on the paladin's toes for absolutely no reason. No!

you know what... I think I agree with you. Deleting that one off my list.

See above. Also that aura would be far too small in comparison to other aura effects.

alright, so at least not over powered.. though please do note that the greater Aura now gives an Immediate save vs Energy drain, to avoid the negative level all together, and if that save fails, you still get your normal Fort save later. As for the aura's reach, you will be starting at a reach of 10', and it can be bigger with the right other feats. So cleaned up versions:

Aura of Life [Exalted]
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, cha 15+
Benefit: The exalted character’s connection with the energy of life offers him greater protection. Whenever the character is subjected to a death spell, magical death effect, energy drain, or any negative energy effect that allows a saving throw, if they make the save they take no damage and if they fail the save they take half damage (if applicable.). This benefit is only in effect while Nimbus of Light is active. The radius of your Nimbus increases by 5'

Greater Aura of Life [Exalted]
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Aura of Life, Cha 17+
Benefit: The exalted character has learned to channel the energies of life into their Nimbus to help shield him from harmful negative energy effects. Whenever the exalted character’s Nimbus of Light is active, if he is subjected to a negative energy or death effect that does not allow a saving throw, the exalted character is allowed to make a Fortitude save to ignore the affect. If the effect is a spell or spell-like ability the DC is as per that spell using the creatures charisma modifier. If it is a supernatural ability the DC equals 10 + ½ the creature’s hit die + the creatures charisma modifier.

Enfolding Aura of Life [Exalted]
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Aura of Life, Cha 17+
All the benefits of your aura of life (or greater Aura of life) are bestowed upon all living creatures with in the radius of your Nimbus of Light.

Disrupting Touch should be attainable only at Epic levels, even so it's pretty nasty.

Well, between MAD, undead creatures good will save & high HD, and the lack of the character's own HD being calculated in, i think most undead are going to be in the 'only fails on a 1' category. It's basically disrupting weapon for monks. But I will bump it up to epic. Vorpal is still nastier for most creatures, as the one-in-twenty is part of a an already guaranteed hit, here the monk has to hit first, THEN there's a 1-in-20. mm, slight tweak.. now it won't work unless you also over come DR first.

Disrupting Touch [Exalted] [Epic]
Pre-Requisites: Improved Unarmed Strike, Ki Strike (Lawful), Sanctify Ki Strike, Holy Ki Strike
Benefit: The unarmed strike of the exalted character is the bane of all undead creatures. Any undead creature that takes damage from the exalted character’s unarmed strike must make a Will save, DC 10 + charisma modifier, or be destroyed.

Radiant Turning should not grant Turning attempts. No. Otherwise, with a little restructuring it could be quite good.

So... this is what you are suggesting?

Radiant Turning [Exalted]
Pre-Requisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Ability to turn Undead, Cha 15
Benefit: Your effective cleric level is increased by 3 when determining your turning effects on undead with in your nimbus of light. The radius of your Nimbus of light increases by 5'.
If your nimbus of light exceeds a radius of 30', your turning ability is still limited to 30'.

Fiendish Turning is superseded by an Epic feat already.

I guess the only question about this, is does this need to be epic? This feat essentially swaps out the Epic pre-req for the Exalted pre-req. If the ability is over powered for non-epic play completely, then it can be dropped. if not, it might make good flavor that the especially devout and pure of heart can obtain this ability earlier on in their lives.

Oh, I had an idea about modifying Fiendish Turning, change it to:

Heaven's Light[Exalted]
Pre-Requisites: Radiant Turning, the Ability to Turn or Destroy Undead, Sacred Vow, Favored of the Companions or Knight of Stars or Servant of the Heavens, Cha 17, Wis 17
Benefit: You can turn or destroy evil outsiders with in the radius of your Nimbus of Light as if they were undead. An outsider has effective turn resistance equal to half its spell resistance (round down).

Adn might as well throw out a round of Epic Exalted feats too. Most of these I made a while ago.

Aura of Grace: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Gift of Grace, Epic levels in class that gives you the Divine Grace ability (example: Paladin 21+, Holy Liberator 11+) Cha: 25+
Your Divine Grace is automatically applied to one ally per point of charisma bonus, with in 5 feet per point of charisma bonus, in addition to yourself. So a Paladin of class level 21+ with a charisma of 26 would grant a bonus of +8 to the saving throws of up to 8 allies with in 40 feet.

Improved Ravaging Touch: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Touch of Golden Ice, Enhanced Touch of Golden Ice, Con: 21+, Cha: 21+
Increase the DC of Touch Of Golden ice by 2. This feat can be taken multiple times to further increase the DC

Enhanced Holy Radiance: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Cha 25+
the radius of your Nimbus of Light is increased by 5', and causes 1d6+charisma bonus damage to Undead & Evil Outsiders with in the radius of your light, each round.

Radiance of the Sun: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Cha 25+
For most purposes, consider the light around the character to be like that of a Daylight spell, such as if another creature is dazzled or otherwise affected by the light. Nimbus of light now counts as a 5th level spell for interacting with darkness effects.

Increased Holy Radiance: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Enhanced Holy Radiance, Cha: 25+
Increase the radius of your Radiance by 10’, which causes all effects associated with your light to spread out by 10’
Special: this feat may be taken multiple times, increasing yoru radiance by 10 feet each time.

Healing Light: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Enhanced Holy Radiance, Cha: 29+
All allies of Good alignment with in the radius of your light recieve fast healing equal to your charisma bonus. Allies of neutral alignment recieve 1/2 that amount of fast healing, rounded down.

True Celestial Familiar [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Celestial Familiar, Improved familiar
Give a non-outsider familiar the Half Celestial template, or:
(Not sure what to do for familiars to whom the half-celestial template doesn’t make sense, like Lantern Archon.)

True Celestial Mount: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Paladin Level 21+, Celestial mount, Charisma 25+
Your special mount's Celestial Template is replaced with the Half Celestial Template instead.

True Exalted Companion: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Exalted Companion
Your companion is further enhanced. If an animal companion, its celestial template is replaced with the half Celestial Template, if a magical beast, the Celestial Template is added to it. Make no adjustment to the creature’s bonuses from the characters levels.

True Radiance of the Sun: [Epic, Exalted]
Prerequisites: Nimbus of Light, Holy Radiance, Radiance of the Sun, Cha 25+
The light produced by Nimbus of Light now counts as true Daylight for all purposes concerning how creatures are effected, and counts as a 9th level spell for interaction with darkness effects.

Can you mislead with a Vow of Honesty? For instance, suppose your married friend is having an affair. You see him kissing and then leaving with the woman. 10 minutes later, the wife asks you if you've seen the friend, can you say "I'm sorry, but I don't know where he is right now"? That implies you haven't seen him, which isn't true, but you haven't lied either.

Currently, the Vow of Honesty seems to allow a great deal of deceit, and as some Mimbari say "a half-truth is the worst kind of lie."

to say that you don't know where he is right now is deliberatly misleading,as you do have at least a general idea. As an exalted character, you woudl not approve of the affair at all, and if your character also happens to be tactful, woudl likely in that scenario to say soemthing along the lines of "I have an idea of where he is, I shoudl be able to find him quickly, let me go get him for you." You'd fetch the friend, reprove him quietly about the affair, and give him 1 day to deal with the issue one way or another.

A less tactful character woudl simply where the friend was last seen, and probably go with the wife to find the friend so not to much damage would occur out of rage.

Remember, a good rule fo thumb w/ exalted is that if you have to explain why it's nto a violation, it most likely is a violation.

That's not really a good rule of thumb -- at least not one that applies to the case I provided. You aren't lying there, so as written someone with VoH can do what I said. I think you need to rewrite it to be clearer, and you'll also have to cover such things such as misdirection in combat. Can someone with VoH use the bluff skill to feint in combat, or is that kind of misdirection count as a lie? Can a general with VoH plant false information for the enemy? Etc, etc.
