New feat like Double Steel strike [Archive] - Wizards Community

Threw monastic training you can shape your mindblade around your hands
like gloves of mental energy
Prerequisites: weapon focuse ( Unarmed strike) change mindblade class feature, flurry of blows class feature.
Benefit: you can change your mindblade in to a glove form with change mind blade. you can use them with flurry of blows
Special
you get your normal unarmed strike damage with these but gain the benifits of the Mindblades enhanced damage and special abilitys.

well thats all what do you guys think

03-23-07, 01:20 PM I know I'm just going to come off as annoying, but please spellcheck this. I don't understand what you're saying, and I'm not sure if it's due to poor spelling or if it's because I don't do psionics. What's a "monk rapp?"

The weapon is sized appropriately for you and deals damage equal to your unarmed strike. You may use Flurry of Blows with <name>. Any feats that you have that apply to your unarmed strike also apply to <name>.

How's that?

03-23-07, 04:17 PM thanks for the help ....sorry about the bad wording and spelling i realy am tankfull for the help. any one have a name ? for this feet. does it seem balanced. would any one use it

03-23-07, 04:47 PM It actually seems a little overpowered to me. Not much, but a little.

One thing I would do to keep the power level down (note: I did not balance the feat at all, just reworded) would be to put in a caveat that Stunning fist, Quivering palm, Ki strike, etc do not work through the mind blade and thus have to be delivered with an actual unarmed strike.

That way the feat is allowing you to do 1 specific thing: Enchant your unarmed strike for normal attacks.
