| Pitiless_Interfector10-27-07, 12:35 AM | VALOR FEATS Valor feats are the province of characters with the knight's challenge ability (typically restricting their use to members of the Knight class from PHB II). Taking a valor feat grants you an additional option for using your knight's challenge ability, over and above the options provided by your class and level (such as fighting challenge, test of mettle, call to battle, daunting challenge, bond of loyalty, and loyal beyond death). VALIANT PERSEVERANCE [VALOR] Your inner confidence and devotion to the ideals of chivalry allow you to shrug off wounds and other impairments that would incapacitate a weaker man. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Con 13, Cha 15 Benefit: As a swift action, you may spend 1 daily use of your knight's challenge ability to regain lost hit points as if you had rested for 24 hours. This feat eliminates existing fatigue, or reduces exhaustion to mere fatigue. You cannot gain the benefits of this feat more than once per hour. Special: A knight may select Valiant as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT ONSLAUGHT [VALOR] Your devotion to the ideals of honorable combat is so strong, you can channel your inner confidence in your abilities to pelt your enemy with a barrage of blows. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability Benefit: As a swift action, you may spend one daily use of your knight's challenge ability to gain an additional attack (at your full base attack bonus) as part of a full-attack action, provided you make all of your attacks against a single target. If you manage to fell the target (either by killing him or reducing him to negative hit points), you may not make any further attacks as part of that full attack action (though if you possess the Cleave or Great Cleave feats, you may make additional attacks until you attack a foe and fail to fell him). The extra attack granted by this ability does not stack with magical effects such as a weapon of speed or the haste spell. Special: A knight may select Valiant Onslaught as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. UNSETTLING VALOR [VALOR] You can issue a threatening challenge that causes foes to approach you more cautiously. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Cha 13 Benefit: As a swift action, you can expend 1 daily use of your knight's challenge ability to force foes to make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 your knight level + your Charisma modifier). If they fail, they must fight defensively (or use Combat Expertise to the maximum, if they are able to do so) when attacking you, for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Charisma modifier. If they choose to cast a spell within your threatened area during this time, they must cast defensively, with a penalty on their Concentration check equal to 1/2 your knight level. Special: A knight may select Valiant as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT JUGGERNAUT [VALOR] You can focus your inner drive to rain crushing blows down on your enemies. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, base attack bonus +4, Str 13 Benefit: As a swift action, you can expend 1 daily use of your knight's challenge ability to automatically confirm all critical threats scored against foes with Int 5 or higher that have a language, provided their CR is less than your class level -2. Special: A knight may select Valiant as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT CHARGE [VALOR] You can focus your inner confidence to enable you to perform a devastating charge. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Benefit: As a swift action, you can spend 1 daily use of your knight's challenge ability to add your knight level as a bonus on damage rolls made with an attack performed as part of a charge. You add your Charisma bonus to the attack roll as a morale bonus, over and above the charge bonus. Special: A knight may select Valiant Charge as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT ENDGAME [VALOR] You can issue a call for wounded foes to surrender. Their own doubts and fears manifest as yet another debilitating impediment. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, base attack bonus +8, Cha 15 Benefit: As a swift action, you may spend 1 daily use of your knight's challenge ability to force all foes at one-half their full normal hit points or less within 100 feet that speak a language and have Int 5 or higher to make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 your class level + your Charisma bonus) or become fatigued. Foes currently at 1/4 their full normal hit points or less instead become exhausted. This condition lasts until the foe has regained enough hit points to raise them above 1/2 (or 1/4) their full normal total, at which point the fatigue ends (or the exhaustion is reduced to fatigue). Regardless of the outcome of the save, no creature may be affected by this ability more than once in a 24-hour period. Special: A knight may select Valiant Endgame as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT ALACRITY [VALOR] Your inner drive is powerful enough to overcome any burden... if only for a short time. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Str 13 Benefit: As a swift action, you may spend one daily use of your knight's challenge ability to completely negate any armor check penalty imposed by armor, a shield, or a medium or heavy load, for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Charisma bonus. Special: A knight may select Valiant Alacrity as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. RELENTLESS VALOR [VALOR] By uttering a threatening warning, you can dissuade weak enemies from attacking you. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Cha 15, Intimidate 8 ranks Benefit: As a swift action, you can expend one daily use of your knight's challenge ability to strike fear into your enemies. All foes with Int 5 or higher that speak a language and whose CR is less than your level -2 within 100 feet of you must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 your class level + your Charisma modifier) or take a morale penalty on attack rolls equal to your Charisma modifier. This penalty lasts for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Charisma modifier or until they successfully hit you. Regardless of whether the save succeeds or fails or if they manage to attack you or not, no creature can be affected by this ability more than once in a 24-hour period. Special: A knight may select Relentless Valor as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALOROUS BLOW [VALOR] Your inner confidence is so strong that your blows sap your enemies' will to fight. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Cha 15, Str 13, base attack bonus +12 Benefit: As a swift action, you can spend a daily use of your knight's challenge ability to imbue your next melee attack with overwhelming force. If made before the beginning of your next turn, this attack deals +1d6 points of nonlethal damage per 4 knight levels and forces the target to make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 your class level + your Charisma modifier) or be staggered for 1 round, able to take only a single move action or standard action until the beginning of your next turn. Special: A knight may select Valiant as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. VALIANT VENEER [VALOR] You can invoke the ideals of chivalry to undermine your foes' opposition. Prerequisite: Knight's challenge ability, Intimidate 8 ranks, Cha 15 Benefit: As a swift action, you may spend one daily use of your knight's challenge ability to impose a morale penalty equal to your Charisma modifier on all opposed rolls and checks made against you for a number of rounds equal to 5 + your Charisma modifier. This ability affects all enemies within 100 feet with Int 5 or more and that speak a language, provided they fail a Will save (DC 10 + 1/2 your class level + your Charisma modifier). Regardless of the outcome of the save, no creature can be affected by this feat more than once in a 24-hour period. Special: A knight may select Valiant as a bonus feat at 5th, 10th, or 15th level. |

| Krusk10-29-07, 02:42 AM | They look good, I would suggest you put an int limit on VALIANT VENEER, maybe the int 5+ thing. And instead of the requirement that they speak a language, i would change it to you have to speak in a language they understand. Aside from that they look real good and like fun options for the knight class. |
