New feat-Hasty Attack [PEACH] [Archive] - Wizards Community

Prerequisites: BAB +11

Benefit: When making a full attack you may make a bonus attack at you highest bonus. All attacks made that round, including the bonus attack, are at a -3 penalty.

Special: The bonus attack and penalty stack with a Monk's Flurry of Blows attack. You only gain one bonus attack regardless of the number of weapons be wielded.

So whaddaya think?

06-08-07, 12:45 AM Well, it's almost strictly superior to Slashing Flurry from PHBII, since the penalty is smaller and the weapon selection is wider. The only thing that feat has that yours doesn't is the ability to make two attacks with a single standard action.

I don't have the PHBII. What does that feat do?

06-09-07, 01:48 AM perhaps if you made weapon focus a prereq, and the feat user could only "hasty attack" with the weapon he had WF in... ::Shrug::

Basically, you can make an extra attack with a slashing weapon during a full attack or regular attack action. All your attacks take a -5 penalty (iirc).

Your prereqs might be steeper, but I don't have my book on me right now, so I can't say for sure.

Slashing Flurry has much steeper prerequisites: Weapon focus, melee weapon mastery, weapon specilzation, and BAB +14 (and of course it only works with the ewapon you have focus and specilization in).

after re-reading slashing flurry, I am thinking that Hasty Attack is overpowered as written.
