I made a feat that requires you to do a ritual to take it. Here's the ritual:

Mockery of Heaven

You have found out how to mock all that is good, by performing a ritual that doesn't use up spell slots, and will give an evil being a right wing of a Half-Celestial.

Prerequisite: Any evil alignment, 8 Ranks in Spellcraft or 3 ranks in Knowledge (Arcana), 5 ranks in Knowledge (Religion), 3 ranks in Knowledge (Planes), 3rd level Bard/Sorcerer/Wizard or no level requirements if alignment is Chaotic Evil (these requirements are for whoever is building it, and whoever is getting the benefit, but whoever is getting the benefit also needs to know Infernal)

First you must make a 15ft by 15ft One-Line Hexagram made out of coal that has been crushed by someone who is Chaotic Evil, 2 pints of blood from the person this ritual is going to be used on, and rubies worth a total of at least 50,000 gp. You must then let it sit for 6 days and 6 hours. Once the time is up, you have 24 hours to place a dead Half-Celestial (who has been dead for no more then 1 hour) in the middle, and the person who killed it holding it, standing it up. The person holding the Half-Celestial (who will get the benefit of this ritual) must have the feats Aberration Blood, Starspawn and must spend 10 minutes speaking in Infernal for the ritual to finish. No one may enter, be in, or leave the One-Line Hexagram for those 10 minutes, or the ritual will fail. When the 10 minutes are up, the One-Line Hexagram burns away, leaving only ash behind, and the Half-Celestial explodes in a blast of hatred and gore. The ash has evil properties now, so you may sell it to an evil magic user for about 5 sp. The ritual is now complete, and the person will now be able to take the feat; Heaven's Right Wing.

And here is the feat:

Heaven's Right Wing

The ritual was a success, and your right membranous wing now resembles an angel's wing. This magically wing makes it much easier to fly.

Prerequisite: Aberration Blood, Starspawn, Any evil alignment, must have had Mockery of Heaven used on you
Benefit: Your fly speed is now equal to twice your base land speed (maximum 120 ft), plus 5 feet for every two aberrant feats you possess, with Perfect Maneuverability.

Do you thinks it's to powerful? Do I need to change something? Or is it fine the way it is?

Takes too little time and rituals like this have some kind of temporary Dex, Con or Str penalty after the ritual is completed.

Woah! Your right, I looked at other spells, and some of them can be really long! Pricey too.

Okay, what do ya' think of this:

Mockery of Heaven

You have found out how to mock all that is good, by performing a ritual that doesn't use up spell slots, and will give an evil being a right wing of a Half-Celestial.

Prerequisite: Any evil alignment, 15th level Bard/Sorcerer/Wizard or 13th level if alignment is Chaotic Evil

First you must make a 15ft by 15ft Pentagram made out of coal that has been crushed by someone who is Chaotic Evil, 2 pints of blood from the person this ritual is going to be used on, and rubies worth a total of at least 50,000 gp. No one may enter, be in, or leave the Pentagram for those 10 minutes, or the ritual will fail. When the 10 minutes are up, the body of the Half-Celestial will be destroyed, then the ritual will be complete. The person will now be able to take the feat; Heaven's Right Wing.

Why does this necessarily require you to have Aberration blood instead of, say, Fiendish?

(Not that I can think of the exact names for the "Heritage" feats right now.)

Is the pentagram destroyed, or can one collect the rubies aferward? My DM has taught me to be thorough. :D

So did Mine, though thorough doesn't always mean efficient.

At Teh_username: Because you have to have membranous wings, and you get them from the feat Starspawn. There for, you have to have Aberration Blood.

At locustechpriest: When the ritual is completed, the Pentagram burns away, leaving only ash behind, and the Half-Celestial explodes in a blast of hatred and gore. The ash has evil properties now, so you might be able to sell all of it to an evil magic user for about 5 sp.

@JLH: It's not so much that our DM is thorough, just if we fail to specify something, then it might not turn out the way we expect...

@Mark: Blast of hatred? That sounds dangerous!

Blast of hatred? That sounds dangerous!

Not really, it happens inside the dead body, so it absorbs all the damage, then it just spatters all over the place. You'll get completely covered in blood and guts, however.

The requirement should be something less class-based. Something that is more about overall ability. Most rituals are performable by any class, given they have access to everything the ritual needs. Perhaps something like a requirement in Spellcraft, Knowledge (religion), and Knowledge (planes)?

Flavor-Text-wise:
Try something other than a pentagram, as flavor-wise, it's an inaccurate symbol. Perhaps a hexagram (one-line; not the double-triangle kind). That kind of hexagram represents marriage of heaven and earth; or body and soul, as this would have it: http://www.freewebs.com/indigo4ever/unicursal%20hexagram.jpg

Lastly, there IS a type of chalk made from burning coal and petrolium. I don't know much about it, but it's black chalk that writes gold.

I left some level requirements in, because you need to channel a lot of evil and magic, but you can make up for the lack of magic with a lot of evil.

Evil magic users like to collect evil things. If you happen to know of any spells the require evil ash, you can use the ash for that.
